Here is how I create cast acrylic baffles, sock holders and parts for converting glass aquariums into fully functional aquarium sumps and refugiums. This is an inexpensive way to create an awesome sump with minimal DIY skills. To replicate this you'll need access to a CNC router, a good single o-flute spiral upcut bit, cast acrylic material, WeldOn #4 cement, a file, utility knife, aquarium safe silicone and a glass aquarium.
I also sell these as pre-cut and pre-assembled kits. To complete the project all you'll need is the appropriate size Aqueon® glass aquarium and some aquarium safe silicone. The standard kits I offer include:
