മാഡത്തിന് അനുഭവം ഉള്ളതുപോലെ എന്റെ വീട്ടിലും ഒരല്പം ഇറച്ചി കറി കഴിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ അത് ആങ്ങള വായിലിട്ടത് അവന് ദയവു തോന്നി തരണമായിരുന്നു.
പിന്നീട് വർഷങ്ങൾ കഴിഞ്ഞ് അപ്പച്ചൻ കിടപ്പിലായി രണ്ടുമാസം കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് മരിച്ചത്. മരിക്കുന്നതിന് രണ്ടാഴ്ച മുന്നേ ആങ്ങളയും ഭാര്യയും ചേർന്ന് സ്വത്തുക്കൾ എല്ലാം അവർക്കായി മാത്രം എഴുതി ഒരു വിൽപത്രം ഉണ്ടാക്കി അപ്പച്ചനെ കൊണ്ട് ഒപ്പിട്ട് വാങ്ങി . അമ്മയോട് പോലും ഇതിന്റെ വിശദാംശങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞില്ല. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമില്ലാത്ത അമ്മയോട് മറ്റെന്തോ പറഞ്ഞു തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
അപ്പച്ചന്റെ മരണശേഷം 40 ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞതു മുതൽ അമ്മയെ അവർക്ക് വേണ്ടാതായി തുടങ്ങി. ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ പോലും മടിയായി തുടങ്ങി.
ഇളയ മകളായ എന്നോട് അമ്മ ഫോൺ ചെയ്ത് കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
പണ സംബന്ധമായ വിഷയങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടാണ് അവർ ഇത്തരത്തിൽ പെരുമാറുന്നത് എങ്കിൽ അപ്പച്ചന്റെ സ്വത്തിൽ ഒരു ചെറിയ ഭാഗം എങ്കിലും വിറ്റ് അമ്മയുടെ പേർക്ക്‌ ബാങ്കിൽ ഇടണം ഞാൻ ആങ്ങളയോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു
അപ്പോഴാണ് എല്ലാം അവർ വിൽ എഴുതി വാങ്ങിച്ച വിവരം ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നത്.
അത്യാഗ്രഹം കൊണ്ടല്ല ഞാൻ ഇത് എഴുതുന്നത്. ഒരു ചെറിയ വിഹിതം പോലും അമ്മയ്ക്കോ പെങ്ങന്മാർക്കോ എഴുതി വയ്ക്കാതെ അവർ സ്വയം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ വിൽ പത്രത്തിനെതിരെ ഞാൻ കേസ് ഫയൽ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
ആങ്ങളയും വീടിനടുത്തുള്ള ചില ബന്ധുക്കളും ചേർന്ന് ഒരു കൊട്ടേഷൻ സംഘം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത് പോലെയാണ് എനിക്കെതിരെ നിന്നത്.
എന്റെ അമ്മ വിശുദ്ധ മർത്തമറിയം വനിതാ സമാജം വഴി പള്ളി കാര്യങ്ങളിലെ ഏറ്റവും അധികം പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്ന ആളാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അമ്മയുടെ ദയനീയ അവസ്ഥ ആദ്യം ഞാൻ അറിയിച്ചത് പള്ളിയിലെ അച്ച നെയാണ്. അതുപോലെ തിരുമേനിയെയും അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവർ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് പോലും
യാതൊരു വ്യത്യാസവും ഉണ്ടായില്ല.
ഇപ്പോഴും അവർ തന്നെയാണ് പള്ളിയിലെ പ്രമാണിമാർ.
കേസ് ഇപ്പോഴും ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടെ പരിഗണനയിലാണ്.
ഞാൻ ഇത്രയും എഴുതിയതിന് ഒരു കാരണം ഉണ്ട്. യാക്കോബായ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബങ്ങളിൽ ഇത്തരം അവസ്ഥകൾ വന്നാൽ കേസിനു പോകാതെ തന്നെ അത് നീതി നിഷ്ഠമായി തീർപ്പാക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു സംവിധാനം ഉണ്ടാകണം.
പ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കാൻ ആവേശത്തോടെ പറയാൻ ധാരാളം പേരുണ്ടാകും. പ്രവർത്തി മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിൽ ശക്തമായ നടപടികൾ നീതിക്കുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള പോരാട്ടത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാകണം.
ഇടവക പള്ളികളിൽ അച്ചന്മാരുടെ നീതിയോടെയുള്ള വാക്കുകൾ അവസാന വാക്കായി മാറണം.
