This video is two years old... where's part 2?
ОтветитьThank you❤
ОтветитьDid you ever do part 2?
ОтветитьJust started watching. Really enjoy videos and when i started i was on a budget. Went to local pawn shops and laway was a good option.
ОтветитьHi Donnie. Great video. I'm just wondering I am in need of a router table. Just like to know if you know of a really good one or should I make one ? It would really help out if you did a video on router tables. Thanks
ОтветитьExcellent review of the different tools for beginners. I started out buying ridiculous tools and i am ashame to say. But i got caught up on all the ( You need this you need that ). and before i knew it i had tools i don`t use or barely use. To bad i did`nt see your review before hand i might be a little richer . Great review and narration maybe someone will benefit off your review, i sure hope so.
ОтветитьDonnie can you do custom templates?
ОтветитьLOL!!! The Rotex doesn't remove material. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Comedy channel?
ОтветитьEveryone has a opinion on what sanders works for them . People do your own testing and research on this one
Ответитьyou say your shop is small but what shop are you usually filming in..it looks huge..id like to see a tour of your small shop..i need to have hope that i can make something work in my one car garage
ОтветитьI make this comment so much and no one ever agrees with me........
My recommendation for the best random orbital sander made is a Dynabrade. It requires a air compressor to use and not a pancakes compressor.....not even a 30gal from the big box store but a big 60-80 gallon two stage compressor. If you invest in a nice big compressor it will open doors to tools that are normally only found in big production cabinet shops or furniture factories. A $250 Dynabrade random orbital sander will out perform any electric sander make. Then there is nail guns, drills and don't forget hvlp spray guns that will lay down a finish on a custom guitar, a classic car or your latest river table.
الله ينور عليك ❤❤
ОтветитьDonnie, what are your thoughts on the air powered Mirkas versus the electric? The air powered are considerably cheaper.
ОтветитьExcellent advice. I am a new hobbyist who focuses on boxes and small items, and plan on expanding from such items to more complex projects. I apparently have made mostly good choices per your opinions. I just added the planer because I reached the stage where I realized the need for freshly milled wood (instead of buying it). It is hard resisting the urge to buy expensive tools because I have the budget for it. I am determined not to join the $$$-tool-of-the-week club. But I must admit that I broke down recently and ordered the new Festool cordless track saw because it seems like a good safe choice for cabinet work (my next area of focus).
Ответитьthis guy's full of shit about the festool sander. Maybe he should contact festool about product issues instead of crying about it
Ответитьtransformer optimus prime? dafuq is this guy even talking about
ОтветитьGood tips. I have the harbor freight dust collector and upgraded the top bag to hyper tech bag that handles smaller microns. It works well for my use:
ОтветитьI'm a handy lady at some I wish I found
I'm glad I found you I'm about to do several project I needed to know about the proper tool s
Anyone buying a harbor freight dust collector is buying it for the 2 hp.motor and upgrading it with a cyclone and a filter.
ОтветитьTime to play catch up with my garage setup. Big fan of the genuine thoughts and reviews. I still like my 12 inch makita miter even if it mainly collects dust. Lol
ОтветитьGreat video. Just sold my 12in dewalt sliding compound miter. Way to big. I break everything down with a circular saw.
ОтветитьThanks Donnie. Some really good information here. You've earned yourself a new subscriber. Onto Part 2!!
ОтветитьGreat tips! I've bought so many garbage tools...
Love your shop! Is that brick paneling? It looks really cool!
I might of misunderstood your sarcasim but a Festool Rotex 150 / 125 is most probably one of the most efficient sanders around hence its owned by many and has been copied by bosch and makita.
ОтветитьI have both the rotex 150 and the Mirka deros. The rotex is nice, but mine does work hehe. I don't use it much though as it's big and heavy and is a bit of a workout. The deros on the other hand is amazing.
I think its important for most people to realize the rotex isn't the sander they want but a finish sander. Festool or Mirka 🤷🏻♂️ but a good finish sander is vital.
Your shop is looking good
ОтветитьEnjoyed this!
ОтветитьNice job donnie
ОтветитьGlad to see more content from you. I will have to check out the power sander and maybe add it to the fleet of yellow and black.
ОтветитьI’m a Dewalt guy but I have never used one of their sanders. I do love my Bosch 6” orbital sander though.
