I have the white one. It's sleek in person. I've been shocked how good the Xbox gamepass streaming is. I've never owned an Xbox, but now I use gamepass and dock the RP5 to my TV. Looks great.

I really like the Anbernic rg556 - it’s about $60 cheaper. Can nab them on sale for $150 & brilliant screen as well. I have little kids so more budget conscious and worried about it breaking with them.

8/16 bit emulation is almost a nothing burger at this point. Everything can emulate the 8/16 bit generations.

If only the thumbsticks and dpad position were swapped i use the stick more than dpad and it gets uncomfortable my hands are large

Honestly, the biggest selling point for me was that screen. It's crazy that an OLED of this quality is on a budget-ish handheld these days.
