So no one with German roots should ever dare be seen without lederhosen? It’s such a stupid fragile argument.
ОтветитьIt almost seems like they want to erase representation of minority ethnicities in the US…
ОтветитьAll those years of struggling for equal treatment, and now only old white guys are allowed to be on products. 🤷♀️
ОтветитьThe original marketing campaign for Aunt Jemima Pancake products revolved around the concept of "saving time in the kitchen at home with the help of your very own, "slave in a bottle" (actual slogan at the beginning of the 1900's and into the '20s). That is why it is offensive/racist to the people who are more familiar with history in a cultural focus. It is also a delightfully delicious product and no one (hopefully) means to oppress others by their personal use of ut. That makes things complicated . It is okay to be considerate of how an item carries historical significance to some and not to others. Luckily, the removal of the contested item as an accessible option relieves you of the need to consider such.
ОтветитьI no longer support or miss any of the products since they caved into the stupidity. Life moved on just fine without them.
ОтветитьWasn't the original photo of the actual person?
ОтветитьBring them back. I stopped buying them when they did this.
ОтветитьAuntie J. FTW.
ОтветитьThat is so silly, what is their to be offended about?
ОтветитьFunny how the white guys are being offended but not the black. Makes you think that the liberal mindset are pushing an agenda!!🎉😂
ОтветитьThat last guy was stupid on steroids.
ОтветитьThe white guy needs some testosterone maybe he wouldn't care so much
ОтветитьWhat a great deal for those corporations.
They not only get to claim woke, they also got to stop paying royalties to the families of the artists.
If they just came out saying we're changing the name/pictures so we don't have to pay the native/black families royalties, that might be seen as a bad thing. But claim it was to be less racist and they're in the clear.
The syrup is just high fructose corn which is toxic.
ОтветитьI like misses Butterworth
ОтветитьCan we add my beloved Cleveland Indians to this list?
ОтветитьIt's a shame that Aunt Jamima was canceled ,the first black woman to become a millionaire selling her pancake recipe. BUT WHAT EVER
ОтветитьThe offened are the liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, communists, Left-wing fascists of the DNC Party are the ones who see those 4 pictures of the original product in year 2020 as racists.
ОтветитьOur country has taken a wrong turn!
ОтветитьBRING IT ALL BACK
ОтветитьBring back all of them. I grew up with all those logos
ОтветитьEven though the lady who was a model for Aunt Jamima was very proud for being that model and being on that syrup and her family backed her up on that ! It is always white liberals with the white savior complex who say these idiotic things.
ОтветитьRacist: Seeing faces of minorities in grocery stores.
Not Racist: Making sure all the faces you see are White.
Please, this is 2025 if you're worried about achimama which I agree with you. Why are you wearing a mask? I'm not asking why the people you're interviewing or wearing masks. That's their business if they want to be stupid. But why are you wearing a mask?
Ответитьwoke dei racist bs
I wonder how much those products lost not only money, but the people who used them for years only to find they were no longer recognizable? Or who now boycott them for the dei and woke idiocy.
Aunt Jemima was a woman who created a wonderful syrup and gave praise to her heritage! When these idiots change these wonderful people's creations it is so sad!!
ОтветитьBring everything back!!
Offend, offend! It’s foolish people with nothing else to do! No one I know EVER tries to offend anyone else!!
It originally was honoring those who WERE important in our times.
Bring back Indian names
As Mascots at schools!
The only person offended was the guilt-ridden Lefty White guy. Actually, he was offended on behalf of others, not actually offended himself.
ОтветитьThe problem was the original depiction, not the modern image
ОтветитьI miss aunt Jemima
ОтветитьAs usual...White people are always more offended. Everything offends the left🙄
ОтветитьYou can tell the white dude was a liberal before he even talked
ОтветитьAn Aunt Jemima on a syrup container is not offensive if anything it should be thought of is great because the best cooks I've ever known in my life have all been blacks and I'm talking off the hook food
ОтветитьI don't care what the label does or does not have on it, I've heard too much about what they're putting in some of these items. The hypocrisy is beyond offensive.
ОтветитьI want Uncle Ben back. I loved that rice and the distinguished gentleman who sold it when I was a kid.
ОтветитьBrought to you be the Jemima's Witnesses.
ОтветитьYou can't fix stupid!
ОтветитьThe masks are offensive.
ОтветитьSh!tty food products that contribute to our health epidemic offend me.
ОтветитьPolitical correctness will be the death of us all
ОтветитьBring them all back.
Bury wokeness.
Way to erase people and call it “anti” racist 🙃
ОтветитьI dont buy those products anymore, because those people were real and we grew up with these brands.
Ответить🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
ОтветитьBring them all back! Put back all the statues!👏🏼🥰🇺🇸
ОтветитьYou guys do the best videos
ОтветитьI take an elderly black woman grocery shopping every month. Just this month she was searching for pancake mix and wondered aloud why she couldn't find her favorite anymore which was Aunt Jemima brand. She didn't know why it had disappeared. When I explained it to her, she responded, "Well, that's just stupid."
ОтветитьAlso, don’t forget in Bass by the Cleveland Indians
ОтветитьOne ethnicity trying to tell another ethnicity that Aunt Jemima is racist. Stop your indoctrinated b s.
ОтветитьPart of our history. it was a familiar and trusted product. Get rid of all the "junk" that's been added. Bring them back
Ответить
