I don’t understand why two junior novice officers where in one car ( Lane & Kien ) and two senior officers are in another car (The Toe & Chauvin) who the heck does these guys rosters.

This was the Stupidest thing I EVER heard sending 2 officers out that just started Street Patrol with each other especially after that period if a shout time in the force.....I dont care if that guy nodded in the car knowing they used a conterfit bill would have stayed in that area for such along time I honestly Believe the passenger gave him that bill to him!!!! If he was that high how could he see cops and be able to be searching his car with cops coming and that female testifies in the car that she had to wake him up si which is it was he being woked up or searching .. Then shaking his head no he night have not even realize he used it u clearly see them have an exchange in the store and the passenger rips a bill to the worker of the store idk why those 2 people were not held and if he was so high Where was he gonna run or how far for that matter!!!!! They did not even inspect the bill!!! He is not complaint due time having an episode if being shot or sit in the front due to claustrophobic I believe he would not testify and she Def did NOT want to be there to testify I def can see he was in fact high but the whole thing could have been handled differently!!! He was sitting then in the car and pulled him out ... Never seeing the reason in the first place while in cuffs against the wall unfourtunaly he could be alive today very sad! When do people realize how hard it is to recover from rehab including rich white people at the Best rehabs!!!!

I have zero sympathy for officer Lane. He opened his interaction with Floyd in a very demeaning and disrespectful manner by dropping the F word repeatedly. This cause Floyd to panic and officer Lane misconstrued Floyd's reaction as resisting arrest. Floyd never resisted. He was instead complying to all the commands given to him.
Why did Lane pull Floyd out of the car.

When Floyd was seating on the floor, why did Lane decide to take him and put him in the back of the police car?
Was Floyd under arrest or was he been detained? If so, on which ground?
Did they read to him his Miranda's right?

I am afraid Floyd is dead not knowing what was all this all drama about

Lane never told George Floyd he was under arrest just pulled him out of the car and put handcuffs on him. Wasn't interested in listening to Floyd when he said let me explain and gave him confusing commands. I would be upset too. Lane and the other 3 officers are idiots. They didn't follow their training and they didn't treat Floyd like he was a human person. None of them should have been on the street licensed to be police officers.

Where is the witness of the passenger in Floyd's SUV who had the drugs in possession and tried to pass a fake $Bill earlier and was denied? Is it possible Floyd was duped by the drug dealer? Kinda sounds like it and no word on him who refused to testify because he may incriminate himself? I think i get what went down and Floyd was innocent. Not the best guy in the world but peoples past can haunt them. Honesty is a great show of respect to trusting your higher power. Silence is power. Following simple commands while utilizing both those powers is essential when those with authoritative power need you to answer a simple question of your integrity. Some do not see the simplicity and make it bad. Usually those who make it bad have something to hide and then it ends bad. When you break the law and get caught you should either realize your not as good as you think and own up or rethink your motives.

I don't think Lane deserves time. He was following orders. Even when George did say "I can't breathe" he probably just assumed his superior with 20 years on the job was handling it. What was he meant to do push off his superior? Then he'd definitely lose his job. Lane didn't know. Cauvin and the other yes. Justice has been don with Chauvin

He can even remember the year he was hired. This guy is a bit slow. Unfortunately, people take advantage of slow people and Chauvin being a predator took advantage of his low intellect to get him to go along with murder. But unfortunately, even 15 yrs old are sitting in death row for going along with a deadly robbery of a convenience store.

I was watching Tao interviewed by the fbi and realized how powerless he looks without his gun and batch 😳 now Mr former officer how does it feel to be on the other side now?? I don't wish evil on noone and there are great Cop's out there serving the community and doing marvelous things but what y'all did to Mr Floyd was inhumane and heart wrenching.

One article says, in part: The Justice Dept filed federal criminal charges against Derek Chauvin, accusing excessive force and violating the civil rights of George Floyd. Three other officers on the scene — Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao — have been charged federally in connection with Floyd's death. Kueng and Thao, are accused of failing to intervene to stop Chauvin. All three face a charge of failing to provide medical care with "deliberate indifference" to Floyd's suffering. The new federal criminal cases are separate from an ongoing civil rights investigation Garland announced April 21 that will examine whether Minneapolis police have engaged in a pattern of discrimination.

4 Months of technical training does not work for someone being a police officer. The Academy is trained to fight people based on what? It seems the academy only trains to use physical force against someone and nothing else. it would seem they are not trained to be ethical or have any empathy for others. Sounds like modern-day slave catcher that maims or kills someone.

There IS no explanation because there is NO excuse!

Unless if I missed it, they never specifically asked about when the other cop said he couldn't find a pulse? I can try to understand, if the suspect is clearly breathing and all, to accept not turning him on his side and deferring to the experience of the senior officer. But when you hear your partner say they can't find a pulse, at that point you need to take action. None of them did anything.
