I believe they made him very 1 dimensional after the bloodline story. He had so much depth and character during the bloodline story and even straight after it (I really liked his fued with judgement day) but now it’s just “uh uh Yeet” all the time.

i think it is more related to the character than the person... and its opponents. what i mean is that jey had logan paul and gunther... one gimmick dude and a wrestler... while in my long years before... stone cold had foley, angle, taker, rock, hhh, hbk, kane, jericho... all of them with " i can be champ and defend" presence. if jey had multiple fights with cena, gunther, punk, reigns, rhodes, owens, sayn... his championship presence would have cemented.

having fun... is fun... but since the character is all smiles... the unbeatable energy was not present. foley was all smiles but we all knew he was tough because of cactus jack gimmick...

what i mean is for example... rvd, booker t..even though were not considered the main event (to me they were)... they had "i don't want to mess with him" aura...that is needed to be champ
