One of the greatest matches ever! The situation with Kurt angle at the time was so out of control and overshadowed just how good he really was in the ring, a genius really. Mr. Kennedy Anderson had a wonderful run as well

I never noticed it until now but you can see the atrophy in Kurt's arms setting in during this time. Kurt's arms and legs were starting to shrink. The injuries and the drugs were taking a severe toll on Kurt but he still went out there and gave us everything he had in the ring.

Their cage match is my personal favorite match of all time

While the in ring work and feud itself is good stuff because Angle and Anderson work off of each other pretty well, I can safely say I hate when a wrestler has an anti military/support the troops thing going on. It feels really fucking hokey and ironically, patronizing. It's something they would do in the old days of wrestling the same as the heel coming out and talking shit about the town. It feels like the most boring, run of the mill, lazy heat gathering nonsense to me. It always has. While I love Kurt Angle and he is still to this day on my top 5 favorite wrestlers of all time, legitimately, his American patriotism stuff was usually...USUALLY...kept to a minimum so it didn't feel so pandering and cheap.

I would have hated this feud if I were watching though. I see right through the pandering to the southern good ole boys nonsense this is laced with honestly and it feels really cheap and lazy when I know both Anderson and Angle are capable of a lot more. This shit feels too easy for them, too underneath them.

Kurt vs AJ was best feud

Good feud, I remember finding it a bit too one sided in Anderson's favor though.
Only problem is the constant spitting. Absolutely disgusting and unnecessary. I don't care if your a heel. Spit, snot, piss etc body fluids should not be used whatsoever. Just makes me not want to watch out of disgust.

Anderson really got a short stick, he's always been great. Quality in the ring, and always great on the mic. Never got the respect he deserved

In September 2010, I got backstage at a house show they put on in PA and got a photo with Kurt. He was such a strong guy that you'd never know he was going through as much as he was. This fued was amazing to watch in real time and was Anderson's peak.

Holy shit this was insane and I remember watching it as it came on TV when I was younger. I was never really crazy about Kennedy/Anderson then but holy shit his creativity and emotion in these matches as well as Kurt's was just astounding. They probably really fucked their bodies up from this but this feud was timeless so I thank them for it!

Angle is by far my favorite wrestler ever.

So I did a seminar with Ken the other day, he was talking about how Kurt planned out this match over 4 weeks in advance. They were only given 13 minuets night of the show, but they went the full 23 they planned and disobeyed TNA management at the time with the ref calling the go-home half way through the match and told the ref that they can go f**k themselves and finished the match as planned. It paid off and became one of the greatest TNA moments ever.

This was my FAVORITE TNA fued, maybe one of my favorite fueds in general. I'm a massive fun of both Kennedy and Angle, and they had just AMAZING Chemistry. Their matches were WARS! This is how I'll always remember their careers MAAAAAN!
