ОтветитьNice kit.👍
ОтветитьGood review, very glad this one got re-released. Cheers
ОтветитьGreat review bud!
ОтветитьGreat review. Thanks for sharing. Id have to pick one up
ОтветитьAnother great kit review. Looks like a terrific kit. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьGreat reviews as always Chris, I've got one if these kits as an older release, it's one if AMTS best
ОтветитьI have an earlier release of this kit (maybe 15-20 years ago) I built it stock and painted it to resemble Indian Turquoise and White My only issue with the kit was the bed didn't fit very well into the body. I wonder if they may have fixed that with this release. I'd like to build another if that's the case.
ОтветитьSweet kit with extra parts will have to add to stash thanks for sharing
ОтветитьOh my god, I built that kit so long ago it's sick! Was an awesome kit! I've still got some of the parts from it! Great to see it back!
ОтветитьSuperlative!
ОтветитьHaving watched your review, I'm going to get this model.
However, unfortunately, models made by AMT are very rare in Japan...
I got 2 of these coming looking forward building them
ОтветитьGood review as always. Round 2 has done a nice job of cleaning up the molds & paying attention to quality control. I like the additional red tinted windows & the very nice decal sheet. The pad printed tires are very well done also.
This is where I have a bit of a bone to pick with round2. They are going through the expense of printing an expanded decal sheet, yet they do not include decals for the gauges or upholstery or any under hood decals for the engine/engine bay .
I have sent emails 2X & filled out a survey asking about these decals being included in future kits. I never received any response at all. I also don't care for the fact that they claim this is "original box art" . The "original 59 El Camino 3-in-1 kit was issued in 1965 kit # 2759. this is not the box art from that kit. This box art is from the 1974 re-issue kit# T398. It is original to the 1974 issued "street rod" series kit but not the original issue of this kit. This claim by round2 sort of irks me. OK , sorry for the little rant.
Thank you for your very well done review. You always do a great job on kit reviews & I appreciate that you take the time to do so & how you keep us informed.
Round 2 models look class but just too expensive here in the UK. At least twice as dear as revell monogram.
ОтветитьThat is a particularly cool kit.
ОтветитьGreat review! I just did the 1959 Chevy impala and this kit would look so nice parked next to it
ОтветитьAnother great review!
ОтветитьDid you build the revell fishing ship?
If you did I would love to see it built!
Thanks again Chris for another Great review. I always look forward to them and appreciate you sharing with us. Thanks
Jeff
I picked this one up after seeing review, worked out great, detailed, and fun to build. thanx HPI guy
ОтветитьMan you've heard my sign up to your channel
ОтветитьI'm stoked about this kit. My thing is I wish it had been designed as a simple screw chassis kit. I guess I've
had my fill of super detailing these things and just want a nice representation of the full size ride.
What size (CI) engine is that supercharged option? I noticed the Cadillac valve covers.
ОтветитьOk I'm thinking I need that kit . Good video
ОтветитьDammit....I need one....or two.... 😎🤤
ОтветитьThis Is In My Top 10 of AMTs Kits I built this one From this Exact Box Art as A Teen 40+;years Ago. I did it in Bright Electic Spark Blue (Ford's " Grabber Blue") and Added the Cool 70s Funky & Wild 3 Toned Decals from the Decal Sheet
The 59 Impala & El Camino was Hands Down Chevy's Most Beautiful Body Stryling Love the Taillights n it's Sweeping Rear Cape so Beautiful it Needs Topped off w working lights that's A must for Next build of this kit
Woohoo, gotta build her stock... Thanks
ОтветитьI just got this. Please build.
ОтветитьI built this kit in the mid sixties. The only custom (?) Part I used was the toneau cover. I spent a lot of time riding in the back seat of my Dad's '59 Impala., so I guess that's why I loved this model .
ОтветитьI love when you say bobs model building
ОтветитьVery cool.... love the 2 & 3 into 1 kits ! Plus all the extra goodies... those were the dayz ✌😎
ОтветитьI just picked this kit up at Hobby Lobby, was 50% off. Wasn't looking for this but decided to get it to modify a little. Im going to tub out the rear end. I like the body lines of this body, and will leave the rear wheel wells like they are. Open up the bed and fab some tubs. I have a few street rod models Im tired of looking at, use the running gear and chassis, possibly a different motor.
ОтветитьYeap in the middle of building it now...I just don’t know what color I want it yet...built the engine ...it’s pretty badass!
ОтветитьThe AMT cat was super cool.
Ответитьthanks for sharing.i sill have the model truck I built 40 years ago.its red & big motor.and blue rims.and in a model box.still together.and haven't looked at ever sence.
ОтветитьJust got this kit from amazon I think that I will try to build it up as a custom version
