ОтветитьDear mister Blackmore. I consider myself as the best of the best bedroom guitarrists of all ages ever since 1973 when I was 5 yo. Is there anyone out there sincerely better than I am at all? Thanks for your music.

ОтветитьHOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT ------BAD ATTITUDE AWESOME
ОтветитьThanks Ritchie!!! Cool story man.
ОтветитьI am a guitarist. In the 70s, when I was a young boy, I learned to play the guitar and developed with Ritchie's guitar playing technique. I would go to sleep and wake up with his name. Danke dir Ritchie. Gottes Segen dir. Bleib gesund. ❤
ОтветитьThanks! That was great. I always look forward to these stories.
ОтветитьI've always felt I could listen to Ritchie play all day, no matter what style he was in the mood for... now I have a notion I could also listen to Blackmore the raconteur all day as well!
Ответить✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
ОтветитьI love this so much! Hopefully Candace and Ritchie can bless us mere mortals with more of these amazing stories 🙌
ОтветитьReally wonder where, and was beam of kindness, generous, and a real friend the missed late superhero guitarist Allan Holdsworth doing at this time period.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing!!!! Can't wait for more!!!! Greatings form Argentina!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьShe owns him!
ОтветитьHo, do I love Richie, especially for that line, if you Disturb us we're going to crank up our Amplifiers and play them at 3am 😂nice one Richie that should have all the Guest's running to the hotel next-door, but some how I don't think that would be far enough😂
ОтветитьHe comes across as a very different person when Candice is present: much more relaxed and affable. Maybe his seemingly arrogant and stand off attitude is mere insecurity.
ОтветитьJust love seeing and listening to ritchie a genius
ОтветитьI just realized that this is the first time I've heard his real voice.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing the story. Just like your music, I could listen to your stories all day.
ОтветитьHow interesting, of course all of these guitar players influenced one another and gave each other playing tips e.t.c
ОтветитьRich I need to hear studio records in France with Mark Clarke with Tony Carey. And the rock show gates of Babylon in 1978 was it live or

ОтветитьI bought 5 Blackmoor’s Night albums on ITunes after watching Ritchie with his wife..love Deep Purple, love Rainbow…his Blackmoor’s Night catalog isn’t for everyone everyone but is is a great body of folk music…

ОтветитьLove ya Ritchie
ОтветитьA man in his Schoss. Nice.
ОтветитьGOAT
ОтветитьThank you Candice and Ritchie😊
ОтветитьNice. Thanks.
ОтветитьHell yea......tell us more stories about your life on the road. You're one of the most important figures of rock n roll.
ОтветитьAwesome story. This is r'n'r history, it should be in a book... all of it. Please Ritchie, write a book, heck, have somebody write it for you, with your stories in it. Cheers!
ОтветитьI wonder if that’s how Yngwie got the name for the duck guitar
ОтветитьFirst saw Ritchie play in Sydney '71 with Manfred Mann and FREE and outdoors show ad if I remember correctly the May autumn sun went down as Deep Purple came on and played. Apparently a one off promo gig? Wayyy too long ago but with Speed King kicking off ... woohoo ... but what a show. Then LedZeppelin inSydney at their peak in '72. Life was good.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful story... thanks to Candace and Ritchie for making this happen. But then, I remember hearing that Ritchie said in 1993, that Clapton couldn't play. lol. But then again that is one of the two worst Purple DVDs ever, so I think we can write that instance off, lol. But Ritchie doesn't just play blues scales, and Eric basically always does, so I think that's what that was about. But yeah I've been having problems with my wrists for the last year or so and that sort of thing is just horrible. Here's hoping we all recover.
ОтветитьBlackmore ten times better guitarist than Clapton ever was.
ОтветитьGreat stories, please keep them coming
ОтветитьWe’re all listening Ritchie, keep them coming!
ОтветитьThis is cool. Keep them coming!
ОтветитьRitchie has an extraordinary gift of story and humour without showing any physical signs…classic stoic yet hilarious. Stick with a duck that quacked a nice present from him…priceless!
ОтветитьWe're still here Rich, we love you.
ОтветитьRitchie is a genius playing guitar … and an excellent storyteller also … long live Ritchie Blackmore
