what the.... hell?!
ОтветитьAt first I was like "lel" and then I was like "LEL" and then I was like "Oh..."
ОтветитьWhere is that clip of yuki getting hit by the car from?!
ОтветитьI'm actually enjoying the Disappearance myself.
It is admittedly very very different to the original, and I'm sure the tone shift and considerable changes to the characters caught a few people off guard, but it's also a very cute and funny show.
It also has some serous 'feels'. The Disappearance arc itself (which is about 9-12 I think off the top of my head, so quite a bit in ) has got to be one of the biggest unexpected gems of this session, with it's deep questions of self, and excellent use of art and music to screw with your head and heart. I had to do a double take and remind myself this was the same show I put as 'pure romantic comady fluff' after the first episode, through you do get a few bits of deeper feels now and again earlier on, it's the Disappearance arc where it really gets going.
But for the most part it's Yuki trying to get closer to Kyon in a comic manner, with a very light hearted and fluffy style to it's humour.
Best character in every Haruhi Suzumiya series. :3
ОтветитьThe Haruhi series sure has fallen on some fucking hard times hasn't it?
ОтветитьWell I suppose you're entitled to your own opinion. Personally I actually prefer the spinoff. Although I suppose that is due to the fact that I'm the kind of person who finds the original Haruhi a completely unbearable character, so putting her in a setting where people aren't obligated to put up with her shit makes her a far better character. By that same token I also like Haruhi-chan because Haruhi being a horrible person is played for laughs and just as often countered by a Kyon straight man routine (and at one point an incredibly badass Kyon Nagato team up)
Ответитьhmm do i like the spinoff : yes, do i like the original : yes, did i like their doujins in my teens : yes, do i like the endless eight : burn that part of the story in the deepest planes of Hades sex dungeon.
ОтветитьHonestly, this spinoff feels almost like a middle finger. Nobody asked for it to be made (although I do appreciate that they were able to get the whole cast back together after so long). You know what people do want, though? A S3, or at least an OVA to fully conclude the movie. I really miss seeing the SOS Brigade's weird adventures.
Also, maybe Kyoto Animation spoiled me a bit, but the animation for this feels like a downgrade in comparison to the 2009 anime. I don't think Satelite (which focuses mostly on action/violent shows) was a very good choice for a high school slice of life romantic comedy.
Sums it up pretty fucking well.
ОтветитьLets change the title to "The Cuteness of Nagato Yuki-chan".
ОтветитьGod, even at 0.25 speed this is adorable!!
ОтветитьJust finished the series last night and find myself disappointed with it. The "disappearance" was clever and bold and led to an emotionally satisfying payoff--kinda. But instead of having OG Yuki deal with the ramifications of the bold confession made by "other" Yuki, she's given plot amnesia and we're back to where we started. "At least I told her"--BULLSHIT, Kyon. Doesn't count if she couldn't hear you (and Haruhi would agree with me). Might as well have said that aloud in your closet or to your mirror. Why do we focus on boring Kyon those last few episodes anyway...it was much more interesting inside Yuki's head. I wanted to see OG Yuki bolting awake in bed with the realization of what was said, that it can't be unsaid, and she has to actually deal with it honestly. "I told him how I feel and so can you..."; but she doesn't, or at least we don't get to see it "for real". Gahh. Would've been better if OG Yuki were emboldened to affirm her feelings, grab Kyon's hand back when he tried to pull away and tell him "it's okay, I like this. I want this."...for them to finally kiss and Haruhi runs off to have a good cry (and let Koizumi console her)...but nope, the writers chickened out and returned us to square one. BOO!
ОтветитьWaifu
ОтветитьI believe you... but my Tommy Gun don't
ОтветитьTHATS WHAT I WAS THINKING. Haruhi’s cool and all but you chose her over THIS?!
Ответитьwait, reading the comments, people actually hated the anime?? I loved it, not saying the people who hated it should die in hell, we all have our opinions and I respect that... but I wish Kyon would end up with Nagato, I mean, she's cute both in disappearance, disappearance of Yuki, and melancholy versions not just her look, but her personality in both....
ОтветитьI watched the movie and the anime and I don’t remember a lot of these scenes??? Did I miss something? Is there an anime series for the disappearance of Haruhi that I missed??
ОтветитьDamn cute
ОтветитьI was such a hater lol
Nah I just love the movie so much,
I do love the ending bit of this video
just wandering, have you by chance read the manga yet?
the manga continues this on and shows more development between the characters. oh and it gives a more proper ending then the show did. start at near the end of volume 5 if you already watch the whole show
as for the show, i think its pretty good/alright, especially the music, i love it, it messes with my feelings and sounds nostalgic now.
its just that the ending is so underwhelming.
watching all that episodes for neither of them to be together is a stupid way to end like that (i dont hear many people talking about this though, most have either shrug off or didnt finish the anime)
though by now, considering this video is like a decade old now (jeez...) you probably already know this and may or may not have read the manga or dont care about it.
