I get so happy and friendly and so much more social when I drink. I dislike everyone when sober and love everyone when I’m drinking. Everyone like me more and prefers me drinking. I’m angry when I don’t drink. They tell me I need a drink. I drink once every 1-3 months.

What I found scary was I went from move conversation to demonic rage spewed sweating within 5 minutes. The reason... because I was jealous of all the couples around me. The anger when Ur drunk can build under the surface without u realising. Then when Ur really wasted it pounces. Evil substance

I definitely believed that. Like this person while I was working & I got off the clock & this drunk person who was angry at me for no reason at all other than he was really that drunk.

I was a bouncer back in the day who delt with many angry drunks. Overall I hated them, hated their personality type, and what I hated most is all angry drunks KNOW THEY ARE but drink anyway.

Later when they wake up in a dumpster, a jail cell, or a hospital they're pissed they're missing teeth. Come on...

I remember my cousin telling my brother and me that he would get beaten when my uncle got home from drinking, which he did every Friday and Saturday night. We said "But you haven't done anything" and he told us it didn't matter. We were eight years old and had no idea such behavior could exist from a "normal" adult. Looking back, it's one of the saddest things I've ever heard. He was so resigned to it. He must have tried everything over the years to avoid it and failed every time.

Reason 3 - Regular drinking increases irritability. Most people don't know this part -- When you have more than a couple drinks, your body feels a high amount of dopamine/endorphins. As a response, your body releases Dynorphins - they block the receptor cells that allow you to feel dopamine/endorphins. Your body is trying to maintain balance (homeostasis). These Dynorphins lower your mood, it is a "feel bad" chemical because you were feeling unnaturally "too good". The main problem is that they last in the body into the day after you drink, sometimes 2 days if you really drink a lot. That makes you not able to feel good over normal things the day after you drink. When I learned of the existence of Dynorphins, I immediately cut back on drinking as I realized I'm not gonna be able to feel good for more than a couple hours, and then I'll really feel down the next day. (not to mention how alcohol interferes with sleep and digestion, and just becomes sugar in your bloodstream). So it's a scientific fact - drinking really is borrowing happiness from the next day. Google it for yourself. And if you have anger issues, the root cause is anxiety, insecurity, and fear. Your body switches to anger so you don't have to feel them. See someone for those issues. Repressed drinkers are dangerous. That's because you haven't did therapy, so you don't know what storm gonna happen. Proper use of alcohol is first, not "drunk," that's WAY too much. And Second, taking advantage of the lowered inhibition through journal writing

My father was the nicest person but he would tear up the house when drunk but he quit 37 ! I never saw him act that way again he is 96 today! Alcohol makes people angry! 😡

in the last 4 years after high school i started to like psychology and personal growth. i personally think this anger we allready have within our selves stemps from our childhood events. i' v had a lot of psychological and some physical abuse back than and even now making awere of all this trauma and chilhood patterns and healing them still when drinking till subconsious the oldest and deepest wounds that i now call scars can start bleeding and throwing my agression out.

Yes so I can’t get drunk with certain friends and laugh and have a blast with no anger just laughs, , then I can get just tipsy and have an all out argument with different family that just get under my skin. Are they doing this on purpose? It feels that way but I’m could be wrong. They are “no it alls” in regular life who love to argue. However I get blamed and it’s very frustrating. Any ideas?

Im really starting to get worried i always get angry when im drunk and i always bring up the past reminding my mother of all the wrong she did, mind you we have spoken about this and she apologized but i don't know why i bring it up when im drunk,im even afraid to go home for big event cause i will bring it up when im drunk again and it only happens with her

Being an angry drunk is bad enough. Being a child victim of an angry drunk is way worse. My father was such a demon and to this day I could never forgive him and have disowned him so I can get on with the rest of my life. I never drink and never go to bars because I never ever want to be him.

I do not believe drinking is wrong if you can handle it, and stop when you need to. Most people seem to get happy and funny when they drink, but I am the opposite. No exaggeration… I am like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when I drink alcohol. I consider myself a pretty nice decent person sober, but when I would drink I would get very angry and violent. I had to quit before I ended up in prison or a graveyard not a drop since 2016. I honestly believe that God kept me alive and out of prison countless times. I did some very crazy homicidal things when I was drunk. I just am one of those people who should NEVER drink alcohol.
