I really want to support the takedown of bad sites but every time i read about it, the police always seem less like people seeking out justice and more like rival gangs taking away competition. I want to think "they're just doing this for good" but then they reveal ways that prevent actual good people from getting stuff on the deep web. Those hong kong protestors need places like the deep web to exist and thrive so they can resist an oppressive government, and if it means they'll lose freedom then i'd rather these sites stay up.
