How To Export Rekordbox Playlists To USB

Hiya, does anyone know what to do if rekordbox doesn’t allow you to tick the ‘syncronize playlist with a device’ box on the sync manager menu?

Is there anyway at all to just import the play list so you have one folder with the tracks in, rather than having artist name, album name, then the file?

But why do i get Error 8605 or Error 8606 even after analysing and exporting tracks in an proper way even i eject the usb..
The Songs Dosnt read after getting this error .
I am using xdj rx3 and faces this issues everytime after updating the new playlist and importing to my ssd or usb..

very helpful thank you I finally made the switch from serato to rekordbox and its been so much fun playing ob CDJS without a laptop. I highly recommend every dj to make the switch to rekord box as its a no hassle way to play tracks and connect with your crowd minus the laptop. I love you all.

I just tried to export my playlist onto two USB’s, however I only got the contents folder appear on one USB. Does this matter? Please help!

you should have added the way that you can export your actual rekordbox settings so if you plug into a laptop it's setup like your home setup is

I sync my usb stick with my playlist every time i want to add a new song, but in my "contents" folder rekordbox duplicates the same song over and over and now i have duplicates even triplicate of the EXACT SAME song, which is filling my usb stick very quickly, how do i prevent rekordbox from doing this ?

okay so I bought new usb its sandisk 3.0 and when I try to export my music from rekordbox to my usb in the usb playlist it says file is missing. pleaaaaase help me to solve this problem plus the musics preview section is missing in the usb playlist

Thnx a lot! 1 question: when I export any playlist to usb via Sync Manager, the Name of the playlist doesnt show up. It only says Unknown Artist (with every playlist). Can I just rename the playlist later on on the USB drive or isnt that a good idea?

It’s really annoying for me as I’ve built most my playlist on tidal I’ve got almost 1000 tracks and I can’t find a way to transfer them to usb😢

Thank you for a very informative, easy to follow and reassuring tutorial. I was glad you showed what the folders look like at the end because - when I used Rekordbox for the first time before my first ever CDJ3000 gig, I was alarmed that the folders looked like an iTunes library - which is anathema to Serato users!

Great video Jamie, I've followed your steps - all was fine apart from one thing... when I made new playlists and hit sync manager, I could not see them in the D drive (USB), what I am I doing wrong?

I have an interesting question and strangly enough, nobody talks about it. When I export files to USB or SD card, rekordbox shows me a message that not all files ware exported, but does not say WHY. I did proper tags ex, nothing helps. Also Rekordbox makes a text file in My Documents folder/ Rekordbox with the files that are not exported. Any video maybe on the subject?

What do we do if iTunes has transferred over to Mac Music. Rekordbox export keep showing iTunes, but not Music. So the old iTunes folders are old. How to update that?

what is the average size of the usb you use? is 128GB a bit overkill?
