mine went through all the steps and said connected to wifi but then a message pops up saying “unable to reach printer over wifi and to try again” 😢😢

I did all of this and it will say that but once I go to print it says not connected to WiFi I’ve tried everything! I have this same printer.

The hp app no longer works I can’t get the printer password how do I do this

I absolutely ABHOR this printer.
I had an hp 5055 that was great . . . until. . . .the latest Windows 11 update.
That update jacked up everything on my laptop.
It' corroded almost all my files, and now I can't upload photos from my SD automatically. And when I do, most of the files get corrupted.

I sidetracked there. But it also corrupted my connection with my printer. And I could never properly use the printer again.
So I got this stupid HPEnvy cuz they didn't sell the 5055 anymore (was going to try it again, thinking maybe the printer broke).

But now I am having a HADES of a time with this printer. It rarely works like it should.
Constantly having to try to reconnect with it, them unexplained stupid lights on the thing.
It's a POS.

I would have paid more for a printer with a display screen like my 5055 had.

OH, BTW (edited for this): I bought my printer in 2024. It no longer has that USB connection option. I definitely would use that if I had it. It might solve some of the issues I have with this printer.

Literally, I have been baffled for over an hour and it’s extremely important that I get this set up
You have no idea what a lifesaver you are. It was so simple but I don’t know where my instruction manual is and pressing that button on the back was the key thank you thank you thank you you cannot imagine how important it is that I get this printer set up.
