Fantastic video! Also if that shelf starts to sag from weight of batteries you can face it with 1x3 and it will strengthen significantly if you nail face off pretty good into plywood.
Thanks for sharing!
hi I like your Solar Powered Shed, I JUST SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEL on today September 1 /2022) thumbs up and thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьLove this great work
ОтветитьWAGO SUPREMACY
ОтветитьHey Silver C' very nice setup👍🏼
Question? Can you send me that workshop/ Mancave?? Awesome!
Great information and detail, we have been looking into this exact application. Thank you.
ОтветитьHow much did this entire solar set-up cost? I know nothing about electrical hook-ups and want solar power to light up my exterior shed and be able to operate some electrical powertools. Thanks. 👍🏽🤠 10/19/22
Ответитьseems a great idea but you will have to see if it is truly possible to get power from the Sun - somehow I doubt that
ОтветитьSo uhhh, what's your OnlyFans handle? 😏
ОтветитьLove this video! I was thinking of doing solar for my chicken house (lights and water deicer), or for my lambing shed (heat lamps), but this made me realize that this could probably be scaled up for our big shed... I use a tiny solar panel to run a fan in my greenhouse and have a solar light with sensor near my milking stanchion, but you make solar seem more doable. Thank you!
ОтветитьExcellent idea! We're going to be placing a new shed in the near future and wanted to run the lights etc on a solar power system. I think I'll pursue this approach. Thanks!
ОтветитьAny good videos on charging the panels and running power simultaneously?
ОтветитьLooks like a great idea, until you see how much those power units cost. $1000? I’ll just connect to the house.
ОтветитьWhere did you get this beautiful shed? I love it!
Ответитьnice work, really good craftsmanship
ОтветитьHARDLY are tutorial on a solar system. Nothing in this video explains a solar system. It is not a solar powered system rather than a battery powered system, you plug a battery in to charge and the battery converts to AC. :P
ОтветитьThank you this is exactly what I am looking for!
Ответитьcan you leave stuff plugged in overnight and have solar panels connected full time to it
ОтветитьWhat about grounding the unit to use with some larger power tools like a table saw, etc?
ОтветитьRather run a single power line from the house where grid power is available.
ОтветитьAre those things strong enough to run a fridge 24/7?
ОтветитьI really like this idea to power up my reptile room year round!!
ОтветитьMad funny. I'm deciding whether I wanna take on an electrical project at home or invest in my drum kit
ОтветитьWhat kind of water pump accumulator tank is that?
ОтветитьI live in California and am tired of the government telling me what I can do and cannot do with my own property. I plan on installing a shed like this and using it for my frenchie studs , However where I live gets really hot do you think I could run an ac unit and that round light off of this type of a setup. I am no electrician lol and you make this seem so simple. Thanks for any response, and yes everyone can laugh that I live in California. LOL
ОтветитьI wonder why you didn't insulate the shed ?
ОтветитьFor a video on adding solar is was quite disappointing to see a bought-in product that does everything for you. I don't think the panels could output enough power to do more than a small amount of work in or around the shed, although I'm sure they are good at keeping the lights on.
ОтветитьOk people I’m a noob . I need to run Wi-Fi and cameras and maybe a mini fridge 24hours . This is gif a yard that I have small area to work on my project cars . What do I need . How many watts ? what’s the best spar generator kit I can get that will work for what I need .
Please help
really good ideas... I want to cheaply power my shed and this is a treasure trove!!!
ОтветитьLooking at something like this for a Shed in Minnesota (Similar climate to you I think maybe a bit colder at times sometimes as low as -20 or -30F but usually only for a day or two). My shed requires a constant supply of about 20-30 watts of power. How have products like the ecoflow been at surviving cold climate conditions over time? I can't really have this shut off, but if it takes more energy to keep itself warm I just need to factor that in. The shed can either have solar supply or intermittent 120v (nightly) power so it will get a charge for at least 7 hours every night no matter the climate. Thanks in advance for your (or anyone else's) thoughts & experience.
ОтветитьYou made a very awesome video keep up the good hard work we are going to do our office building all solar
ОтветитьWhat kind of solar charger system would work to charge a cub cadet electric tractor.
ОтветитьAppreciate the simplicity of your approach. Since I am in the process of trying to go the same route, this was extremely helpful. I do want to make one comment. You referenced a solar generator. They do not generate power, they are actually large batteries with function attached. They still need to be charged via solar or even 110 volts. So it is important to be sure we understand the distinction. I am choosing to go with batteries versus purchasing a solar generator because I can have the same function for much less cost. Really like your minimalistic approach. Makes my job simpler now.
Ответить❤looks great 👍
ОтветитьGreat idea to use a small capacity portable power station if 12v lights and charging USB devices is the goal. But the size will limit the use to low wattage devices.
ОтветитьNice I’m going to do this in my shed
ОтветитьGive me every single thing you have for this video for free for sale dolls Lowe's
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video very much and nice shed!! Can you tell me the model number of the EcoFlow unit you are using please?
ОтветитьWhat if I want to run a ceiling fan and a few hard wired outlets? Would that solar generator do the job?
ОтветитьI’m looking to run solar panel in my shed. Can you please do a step-by-step on what kind of wiring
ОтветитьI was thinking of a similar setup to this, how long with it power that window AC? Does it kill the solar generator really quickly?
Ответить"These are wagos, and they make wiring stuff up a lot easier"
They also turn your electrical system into a massive fucking fire hazard, wire nuts are the only correct answer
That OF logo 😂
ОтветитьLove those Wagos!
ОтветитьThank you! Very helpful!
ОтветитьIt's great information that I needed thanks
ОтветитьWhere did you get that exterior light ?
Ответить
