If you want your corn bread to stay crisp, take it out of the skillet as soon as you get out of the oven, turn it over plate.

I am jealous of your fresh ground corn meal. I will aim to grow some corn specifically for meal.

Maggie’s gonna have a real pretty flower garden this winter! I do love the way the kids get involved with the garden and yard work.

You could plant a row of ornamental cabbage along the fence behind the pansies.

Jacob grew a beautiful ear of corn my corn didn’t do good but my cucumbers did also and tomatoes did trouble. And my string beans did trouble. Bad year for a garden

Awesome meal you fixed from the ground up Megan. All home brewed fixins and hand raised to boot. Totally unheard of but so delicious. You folks really know how to live. Enjoyed watching the pumpkin harvest and Jacob's garden harvest. Would have enjoyed some of those fried green tomatoes with Honey Mustard they are the best but with Ranch Dressing they are so good too. Then some Pumkin Pie or Sweet Potato Pie. I'm putting on weight just thinking about all the good food you rustle up around there each day. Maggie's flowers will be so pretty before long, she does such a good job around there too.
