Hoi 4 soundtrack Songs playing multiple times in the background 💀💀
ОтветитьLove that HOI music
ОтветитьYou got me to subscribe in about 30 seconds
ОтветитьCrazy coming back to this video after the war in Ukraine kicked off and hearing of a vehicle having a higher chance of ammo cook off than the T-72. Thing seems designed to blow up at every opportunity.
ОтветитьT-64 doesn´t raise the bar in anything, even if it is modernized.
Ответитьt 54 and t 55 is an médium tank
ОтветитьI served in the Bundeswehr tank force and I can guarrantee you the Leopard 1 would have been no match to these Soviet tanks. The Leo's speed would have been useful only for running away, which is kinda pointless in armored warfare. I guess we can count ourselves lucky the Cold War didn't turn hot in the 70ies, because we would have looked really silly if it did. Anyways, the T-72 and all its modernizations are even scarier than this one. They had better guns than us, better armor and they were lighter. That would have been such a lopsided fight in their favor.
ОтветитьThis is not going to age well once these are dusted off
ОтветитьWell, russian tanks are extremely weak, Ukrainian are demonstrating it every day… Pure russian garbage
ОтветитьThis tank wasn't built with the needs of tankers in mind, standard problem with every soviet and ruzzian tank
ОтветитьAnd as we are now seeing in Ukraine, still a very effective weapon in the right hands and using the right tactics.
ОтветитьYep autoloaders 😅 in games - awesome. In war - kinda sheit
ОтветитьCan we say how badass that last clutch drop was at the end of the video up that test bed hill?
ОтветитьYou cant have a billion tanks with a million people
-sun tzu the art of war
da fuk... the last time i checked armoured warfare was dead .... boy had t 14 armata and all lol
Ответить64 was the last good tank the Soviets built. The 72 was worse, and the 90 is a poor upgrade of the 72.
ОтветитьWow thanks for such informative and interesting video, im a die-hard pacifist, but for some stupid reason, military gear, tanks, big guns, fighter planes, planes, submarines.. just fascinate and intrest me so much, i guess its my manly genes at play, even though im 100% against wars, but the technology and machinery just fascinates me.
I wish one day we will come to a point, where countries and armies accept, super realistic simulator, with super realistic capabilities of each country and wars would be faught with no people dead, but still they would get what they "wanted" I guess its naive idealism, but otherwise i cant see the hope in humanity and we will self-destruct sooner or later, but at least in the meanwhile armor and fighter jets are so damn cool and interesting... to watch, read about and stuff.
Not aged well after a year of Ukraine. Doubt that many are left now in Russian stocks.
ОтветитьIn a small note here. Yes the auto loader are it’s crew arms. There are numerous reports of this and yes the bmp had a variant with an auto loader but it was never mass produced.
Besides this the biggest issue is that when a soviet tank reloads after firing, the gun raises. Dead give away.
The "autoloader eating limbs" really needs to be redacted out since it's simply not true and based purely on propaganda and not actual reports from the field
ОтветитьT-64 was NOT more maneuverable than a T-72
ОтветитьNope, T34's could not outrun their german counterparts, only on paper they could
Ответитьcapable of surviving tactical nuke. Stop the cope, the turrent were flying all the time in the ukraine(jack in the box effects)
Ответитьlight tanks are coming with similar weight.upgrades with better gunand amms can up their efficacy to new standards coming already.
ОтветитьI kind of thought AW was done sponsoring anything. Last time I was on there, there were 7 people online. Not worth the hard drive space. It was a fun game when people actually played it.
ОтветитьI love your reviews but this particular tank is a piece of junk, though t-62s which are now delivered by Russian military to Ukraine are even worse
ОтветитьRussia would have had a chance during the cccp but these days hell no
ОтветитьLack of fourth crew member a disadvantage? What for - to occasionally help out carrying tracks? That is the most bogus sell for western pattern tanks - and you know it.
You can hire a technician for the regiment, and they won't have to be armoured or risk their life in combat.
It was raising the bar back in the 60s but it’s lowering the bar in 2023 😂
ОтветитьHave to love that Russian tanks are being humiliated t-55 t-64 t-72 t-80 t-90 t-14
They are all clown shoes
Jokes 😂🎉
A Ukrainian tractor is superior to them on the battlefield.
Usually Western tanks were better overall but the soviet's had more of them tanks were one of the only fields in addition to nukes and helicopters until recently that the Soviets were on par and sometimes better than the west in but thats just my opinion
ОтветитьYou have one significant mistake in the vid.
T-80 is not a variant of T-64 with gas turbine engine. Although this project started from "what if we put GT engine in a tank?", many problems were found in T-64 design, most of them due to the task of making a tank in 36 tons.
Looking forward for T-80 video
WAIT THERE'S MULTIPLE ONE PIECE'S IT'S REAL
ОтветитьThese days also a main contributor to the Russian space program with their turret based launch vehicle.
ОтветитьThe Russians are on to something they have some the best ejecting turrets on any tank if the hull or turret is pentatrated they eject taking the cosmaunauts with them
ОтветитьI'm surprised depression angles and the inability to defend a hill from an elevated position once within a certain range wasn't mentioned. Something western tanks really benefit is the ability to crest hills and expose few parts of the vehicle to enemy fire. In contrast, the T-64 and its variants (and all other T series vehicles in the future apart from Armata) really lacked in the depression department. In its defense, it would ideally be fighting a battle on flat open terrain, but when you get to places like Germany, depression and being able to use the tank in a wider range of places is what will win the day.
ОтветитьThere just something about that T-54/55/62/64/72/80/90 look that I just love.
ОтветитьSmall correction:
T-64 has never had anyone on record for losing an arm. The reason is simple...there's a divider and gunners are trained strictly to stay within the confines of their station. I bet this story came from some 3rd world nation that had poor crew training or inexperienced in the middle of battle and in their panic stuck their hand in the breach but that's like saying Abrams is notorious for chopping off your hand when in fact if you load slowly and neglect to pull out your hand the design is automatically flawed.
Another quick point about the engine fire...this tanks was not only the first to incorporate automatic loading but also had the most advanced engine beating out the west...5TDF motor. It did have issues but overheating and catching on fire was extremely rare. Mostly it was temperamental with dust a plague to just about all engines even to this day..just ask Abrams crewmembers during the Desert Storm operation where quite a few had to be hauled for that fact alone.
In short it had some short comings but it did its job and Soviet Union was ahead in many respects up until introduction of Abrams. T-80 and T-90 leveled that playing field with much better protection to prevent cook offs but still using the principle of shell placement ...however with introduction of T-14 now in production the worlds best tank once again goes back to Russia.
For those that claim T-14 is not combat proven neither is F-22 and yet its bragged as the best plane. So either stick to a golden rule or be a hypocrite. On paper it is factually the best not only in terms of protection but in technological breakthrough...literally a crewless turret able to fire on full speed with direct impact at long distance with the most powerful gun mounted on any tank to this day. That's more then enough to make it the best in the world. There's even a K model for Command which means the entire tanks is autonomous and does not need crew at all.
With the conflict in Ukraine now coming to a close with so many lessons Russia is now the most experienced army in the world proving mighty over 40 nations with Leopard 2a6 and Abrams now showcased in Moscow.
It's kind of a mute point at this point whether the T64 or the T72 were better. After 2 plus years of war in the Ukraine, the T64 has basically be abandoned and only the T80 is built and/or modified. Whereas the T72 continues to receive upgrades and continues to fight on the battlefield. The Ukraine still uses its Soviet era T64s, and many were modified, but their stocks are dwindling and there's no real production or capability. While a great tank at its inception, the T64 is now becoming an afterthought.
ОтветитьThis aged like milk
ОтветитьCrew being injured by the auto loader is a myth. Although it is possible, it would be very difficult and highly unlikely
ОтветитьThere are videos of Russian T-64’s burning Challenger tanks as well as Leopard 1 & 2 tanks in Ukraine. Russia showcases some of them in Moscow now for anyone to see. This objective data provides good historical tank information for enthusiasts such as ourselves.
ОтветитьT95: \*cries\*
yes, I recently watched a red wrench vid on the T95
Yeah. She's my fav Soviet tank
ОтветитьNothing beats the m1a1 but the t64 is the deserved next in line
