Just a quick google search I see lots of jobs out there entry level, no xp, python coder, remote, probably aren't great pay but it's good xp. Also the demand for coders is expected to grow 20% in the next 10 years, an least until AI takes over that job too, and you can just tell the computer to write you a code for this or that and boom! Lets just agree right now to throw our shoes into the AI machine cogs if that happens.

I think the only thing Python is good for is personal projects. One day I will pick it up for automating small task. Right now, I am focused on JavaScript. Then again? I think you can use JavaScript for automation as well?

it's a correctly : "Why you shouldn't learn PHP in 2022"
Python have future general language and can handling many projects with one language not just backend !

This video is really depressing all the stuff he said in this video shouldn't discourage all the upcoming python coders 👀. Many companies are in demand for coders companies like Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Not just that they pay good money for quality code.

C is definitely the foundation, if someone starts learning JavaScript as first language, they gonna have a hard time understanding concepts and debugging their code. Programming is not a one time activity , it’s a process. You learn something like C which gives you the basics of how a computer programming language works and interacts with memory, then you learn an OOP like C++ or Java for OOPs concepts which is extrémalo important and you cannot learn it properly with languages like Python and JS. Once you have the foundation and OOPs you can learn any language any framework of your choice.

People who make these types of videos and don't give any good points are retarded. The fact of the matter is, people need to stop giving suggestions on what language to learn first, because it truly does not matter. Your first programming language is not learning the language, it's learning the foundations of programming since most languages are extremely similar under the hood. Once you get the passed the 'beginner' stage, then you start learning the language or another language.

I didn't know until I started watching this video that it was aimed at new developers who haven't even started their careers. The title caught my attention because I just learned Python this year for my current job, and I wanted to know why you would tell people not to learn it. (So technically, this was clickbait.) But in the correct context, it makes a lot more sense, that new developers shouldn't be learning just Python in the hopes of getting a job with it. I've worked a lot of contract jobs as a developer over the years, and like I said, I only had to learn Python this year. And the thing is, I didn't even learn Python until AFTER I got the job! They hired me because of my experience with build automation and DevOps engineering, and knowledge of languages like C#, C++, Powershell, and YAML. Then they said I just needed to start learning Python because I would be expected to use it for all the automation scripts I would be writing. But it was super easy to learn because of all my prior on-the-job programming experience in other languages, and they knew I would pick it up easily because of that. But to learn Python as one's FIRST programming language? Yeah, that just seems odd and counter-productive to me.

I am 40 with three children:) so certainly in need to find the best path : quick access to work and interesting to grow with. Good job, keep up respect!

Also, python is a didactic language and may successfully replace c++ in algorithms implementation. It already did, actually. Regarding jobs, freelancing is a different domain, you still find much much many wordpress jobs than for any other cms, so, should people go back to 15 years ? No. My advice is to do whatever you like, be good at that and look for a job or ... create your own business. We should decide our evolution.

learn python if you want to become a computer scientist and you chocke full of math ELSE D O N T it won't serve you anything the language was made by and used by mathematicians the guy had a masters in math and in comp science the language was made for that an extension of itself towards his needs (and others like him) you the average guy will never use that , python means robotics ai machine learning hardcore maths (on the fly cpld`s for dynamics like finite elements and other algorythms used in electrodynamics like method of moments ,see f35 and many other complex ones that now are easy to be implemented with this more of a database language ) btw the language is extremly hard totally fragmented counter intuitive non-standard and it`s a indentation language BUT it`s really good at doing mathematics it really is
