I reckon it's a cheap price for what you get. Would definitely buy if I could
ОтветитьI think we've been conditioned to believe that medium format is more expensive and out of budget than full frame. Fujifilm gfx system is cheaper, same price, or just slightly more expensive than full frames. I really can't tell the difference between an aps-c and full frame, I've shot some medium format film and I definitely noticed the difference in image quality. I want to get my hands on a medium format from fujifilm
ОтветитьGreat review !
ОтветитьAlmost nobody will see a difference in image quality between this camera and a much cheaper full frame camera. With few exceptions - for example large exhibition prints.
ОтветитьI just did the math... I can shoot 500 rolls of 120 film for the price of this camera lol
ОтветитьThis is god of cameras
ОтветитьPhase one is a true medium format where Fuji is not.
ОтветитьAaaaah "Another: "Whats-Up" opening! As soon as I hear this + Yank voice! Block and go.
ОтветитьPlease fix your sibilance issues, even with your recent uploads, if anyone watches with high quality headphones or speakers, it's accentuated further.
ОтветитьMan this was a great video! And honestly has me thinking of switching systems.
ОтветитьWhat lens is that in the thumbnail?
ОтветитьMacOS is still unable to see GFX compressed RAWs fuji files !
ОтветитьMy GFX 100 is for me unbeatable, unbelievable, extraordinary, a dream in your hand. I’ve reinvested well over 10k in lens, it’s a pleasure as it a perfect marriage. Only by in brand. Extraordinary
ОтветитьI'll save you the watch. Nothing makes it worth $7500.
ОтветитьMann, i love this channel
ОтветитьNot sure why no one ever posts this info but what camera/lens was used to film this video?
ОтветитьNothing.
ОтветитьThe GFX 100 “not quite medium format” Camera.
There is no “medium format look” in digital sensors.
You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an EOS 5D MK1V and a GFX.
OR a Leica SL2 vs. GFX.
Anyone who tells you different, is not to be trusted.
Hi! What exact PL mount anamorphic lens have you used?
ОтветитьAfter 50 years in the hobby, I finally understand what an anamorphic lens is!! That's a win.
ОтветитьMais , bordel ! Pourquoi il coûte 1000 € de plus en Europe , ( à ce jour: 7500 $, c'est 6940 €, il est annoncé à 7995 € )
ОтветитьWhat’s that block looking thing at the bottom of the camera?
ОтветитьFuji’s color science is significantly inferior to Hasselblad still. If you need a still camera, that’s the ticket. And for video this camera is way behind similarly priced video cameras with proper I/O and mounting options and more dynamic range. (Smaller sensors though).
Jack of all trades or master of none?
Unnecessary annoying music. American?
ОтветитьSaying smugly "And it doesn't even shoot video". Dude if you want to buy a Hasselblad you don't think about video ROFL
Ответитьthe aputure is just as round as with any other lens, it just looks like that because youre looking at it through the squeeze element
ОтветитьI own a couple of the GFX's and I had the same issue regarding the MP size. I agree with you that it would be cool to have the option of changing the MP to fx 50 or 24 etc. 100 is in many situations overkill
ОтветитьThat's not what anamorphic lenses are about...
ОтветитьMust have been cold in the studio 😋
ОтветитьDude has no idea that billboards are printed at pretty tiny resolutions. Medium format cameras are mostly used for editorials, archival, science, and fashion work. Landscapes too. But I don’t think any experienced photographer is gonna shoot high res only because it goes out on a billboard.
Ответитьlens no more available lol
ОтветитьI am trying but not seeing the value when compared to something like an R5 @1.2-1.4. If I want max resolution and quality, extremely large print size then I get it. What I would love to see is a new film / digital hybrid camera. Film is the a medium that eliminates the clinical nature of digital.
Ответитьi feel like i just stepped into an alternate reality where MKBHD is a photography channel hosted by David
ОтветитьGFX 100R. Come on Fuji !!!
ОтветитьIt`s absolutely worth it if you`re compensating for something, for the rest you got to be out of you ff mind to carry a mammoth like this with you.
The lenses are all very slow, there is no real advantage there.
I think the color science is not my cup of tea. But some may like it.
very good video ! What´s the lens you used for the portrait ? GF 55 or 80 ?
ОтветитьThe main reasons we used to shoot on medium format cameras, such as RZ2 was for an increase in quality, but also for a much larger image on your eye, so that you could see all of the problems within a short if we were shooting billboard campaigns resolution isn’t much of a problem, any longer with 50 megapixel Dslr so the main reason to buy this is because of the much larger viewfinder and ability to be able to look down into it from the top absolutely no point in trying to shoot videos this camera, as it’s only using extremely small parts of the sensor’
ОтветитьThe air horns in the intro?!
ОтветитьCameras and glass are so so so so expensive, everybody earns with .... intermediaries a lot not the brand producers. The world changed badly ...
ОтветитьDude I'm trying to get into everything cameras, videography, cinematography and this is one of the first videos i've watched explaining things minus short films etc and you have a way of making something insane like a 7.5k camera full of features into an understandable bite sized video. Please make more like this maybe even a how to start for a beginner !
ОтветитьWow, so much misinfo in this video..
ОтветитьIf youre just buying this for pictures you may as well just get a hasselblad for this price. Much better experience overall, especially with the UI.
Ответить50R sequel YES!
ОтветитьInterestingly, the pixel sharpness of this camera even shows on my 1080p notebook screen.
