This card allowed you to automatically win the duel as soon as you activate it, and it could be searched from the deck without restrictions. This card has come off the ban list because it has been powercrept

Fun Fact, During the Snatch Steal Segment, there is a deck called Graydles for anyone who doesn't know and it is literally a deck full of monsters that are "snatch steal if this happens".

Why not tier the cards like in Pokémon Showdown? Each card is ranked by usage and power, and you can't bring a card to a tier it outranks. (I.E you can bring an OU card to Ubers but you can't bring an Uber card to OU)

Then again this may be the pokefan in me taking over and idfk how the Yu-Gi-Oh ranking system works

The average experience of a Yugioh player is returning after a few months to find out half your deck got banned or limited. Even though other decks are way higher tier than yours
