Going by this video alone I'd say he was not guilty...not innocent mind you, not guilty. I'd have to do more research to have a more definitive opinion. It does sound like the cops saw weed & immediately jumped to conclusions though...like, unfortunately, how a lot of people in the law enforcement community still think/do.

Its certainly not the first caller that did this.

Jackie Johnson’s crooked a$$ is finally getting what she deserves. Her and her cronies are all crooked as well. I hope at some point, this man gets a retrial. That woman deserves to be under the jail for all the mess she has caused in so many cases over the years.

No I don’t think for one minute Guy is guilty. He has alibis. He tried to get help. He had no scratches or bruises or anything on him. He couldn’t have done it on his own. Devastating enough that he loses all those people but to be wrongfully jailed for it is disgusting. The Police messed up all the evidence but were determined to make someone pay and they chose him

In the UK our Courts are a joke because they are too lenient and give ridiculous small sentences
In the US it seems that anyone will do to hang the blame on as long as you close the case and then give life meaning life

When the PROSECUTOR admitted that they didn't have any evidence that linked this young man to the scene, crime, that Judge should have DISMISSED IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE as a matter of fact the District Attorney should have never had indicted him with no evidence. Doing things like that is a big reason innocent people end up in prison for life or death row.

The fact that those jurors convicted this man based on ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OR PROOF! Not only was there no proof, Guy's timeline that was backed up by actual evidence & proof shows that he is innocent. I would have never convicted based on what was presented in court.

It is scary to think the “justice” system in such a developed country like the U.S. prosecutes and gets convictions on circumstantial “evidence” only. As far as I am concerned, circumstantial “evidence” is not evidence—it is conjecture, supposition. I can’t say one way or another if Guy is innocent; I would really need to look into the case more. I am saying the DA admitted they had no solid evidence, though, so he shouldn’t have even been indicted without that SOLID, REAL EVIDENCE. And from what this video states, there were a lot of questionable actions by the police in the handling of potential evidence and the investigation.
It all really sounds like an incompetent/crooked DA and their equally incompetent goons wanted to wrap up and seek praise for “solving” such a high-profile, horrific crime in Georgia’s history, and they didn’t much care about facts or evidence or doing a decent investigation.

IF what was said in this video is true, it is the internet after all, then everyone involved in the investigation and the prosecution, including the judge in this case should be fired or disbarred. They should also come under prosecution themselves for, at the very least criminal negligence. This sounds more like a witch hunt than a proper investigation

Justice was definitely not served. Everyone knows that evidence should be concrete and the police and prosecution shoud definitely have known that.
