This is so similar to the Rockalina story, the little Eastern Box Turtle. Rockalina also spent a very long time in poor conditions. I’m happy both of these animals are being given a second chance.

Does my heart so much good. My baby died of old age and at 72 I am too old for a bird that lives this long and the house seems so quiet. You are lucky. 💕
