Got another tip, you should always combo swallow with any food, cuz even tho swallow does regen a little bit of health, it's main perk is that it increases health regen. So, if you combo it with food you will regen a lot more health than normally.

I played this game way to many times but going again 😂 like 5th time but just got the Ps5 played it on PS4 twice then PC now Ps5 😂 but to be honest I genuinely think it's running even better than it did on pc it's surprisingly good the Ps5

I rarely used crossbow during my initial PC gameplay due to its shit key binding (press mouse scroll / mouse 3), no other good key bind available without losing another action. Forced to use it in later stages when its damage increased.

This is a great video but misleading title. "Best Practices" would be better. Mistakes have consequences beyond less than optimal gameplay. For example: These are the quests you MUST do or you will get stuck in White Orchard (which I currently am). New video challenge, make this one: "Mistakes that Force a Do-Over or Send You Backwards" Annnndd... GO!

I certainly shall not make these mistakes in 2024… Because this video was released in 2025.

1. Witcher gear hunts are under treasure hunts not witcher contracts
2. Enemy upscaling does NOT give more xp
3. Troll decoction is best as the health regeneration works through toxicity overdose

I take forever playing it. Still in the first map and trying to get everything. I have one more location to get but need cyri to get to the bald mountain. Does anyone knows where the green poison wyvern is in the first map. The creature holding a treasure chest

the biggest mistake ( which the game doesn't tell you ! ) is taking on the main story early on -- what with real nasty bosses waiting for you.......

Im afraid on my lil brother from the nudity in the game, i really Don't wanna be the one who corrupt him, Ill just ask god to protect him and just go through it.

these arent mistakes. if you dont follow the path, you will never discover signed posts like i did on my first take. sigh also i just realised gourmet skill is waste of slot because you can get healing decoctions. auto sell items to get inventory space is a must. dismantling is no need since youll get all materials you need by looting areas. i learned nothing. everyone has their own play style

I don't understand what us the point of farming money in this game, except for occasional set map and gwent cards (both of them very cheap) there is absolutely nothing worth buying in shops. Only exceptions are runewords guy and grandmaster set crafting but at the time they are accessible money is no longer any issue. Seriously, 3 -4 rusted novigrad swords from bandit camp and blue armor from any chest and any merchant before blood and wine is out of money anyway.

Wasting precious skill slot on something as useless as gourment ? If You really need food for healing, its both extremly plentiful and almost weightless. I'd rather pick strong back instead (also useless).

If You are not using signs build, what is the point of looking for a gear with sign intensity ? You will not have stamina regen to cast them consistently anyway.

Best sword absolutely depends on Your build. For caster , best swords are griffins if only to enable 6set bonus that lets You massacre entire screens of enemies at the same time.

I'd also take white raffard instead of swallow anytime, instant regen ffw

And very important, don't be stupid like me and store all your armor and swords in the loot box before starting NG+. I left almost everything in Corvo Bianco and lost it forever 🤡

So your tips are: do sidequests, do witcher contracts and treasure hunts, dodge attacks,... . Wow such useful tips. I think this video is extremely unnecessary. I hope nobody watches this before they play. These things are obvious and need to be figured out by the player.
