the lvl from 2003 -2008 It's unprecedented ... mononucleosis drastically affected Federer's career

before mono, his peak was the highest, by far, in history.

90-4 record in 2005. Insane.

Federer practices like its a serious tournament
The others just try to either hit the cover off the ball or just try trick shots. Eleanor Roosevelt said it best. " Practice DOESN'T make perfect,--- perfect practice makes perfect!

Federer is definitely gifted, and there’s no denying that. He looks smooth and effortless when he plays, which makes him seem better than he really is. But from what I’ve observed, he didn’t really put in the same level of work as others, and with not much competition during his prime, it just made him look even more dominant than he actually was.

I have never seen a better player than Roger Federer. His ball striking, timing, movement and creativity are the closest things to perfection. Many of his shots defy belief. The sheer beauty of it all. He transcended from a tennis player into a global cultural icon, pretty much like Michael Jordan or Muhammad Ali.

They ALWAYS use this one, but is it really that great of a pass?

I'm only halfway thru this video, and I'm astounded with every point. It just never gets old.

Thank you, OP, for taking the time to compile this video. I will miss watching Roger play for the rest of my life, but I'll never get tired of watching videos like this.

There will never be another like him. His court awareness is phenomenal and the shots that result because of his keen court sense are mind-blowing. I'm almost in tears.

I never liked Roger personality wise, but I will miss these impossible shots only he could make. The best spin control on every shot type hands down. The guy can hit a drop shot from a flat forehand grip, it doesnt even seem possible. Out of the big three, even with goat Djokovic as the least favorite one to the crowd, if you remove anyone, the tennis just isnt the same. The top3 complimented and grew on each other the way that will unlikely happen any time in the future. It was an honor to be alive and witness their life stories happen in front of my eyes. I already miss Roger, I'm just getting used to Rafa not being around. I hope Djoko plays a year or two more. With him gone, the dream Big 3 chapter in Tennis will close one last time, and this time for eternity. What a hell of ride it was!
