I agree to the person that said best feeling when arriving and seeing your loved ones! Been to vn 7 times and every time the arrival is so loved , knowing that ya fam is out there and both parties are anxiously waiting . Going thru customs is not that bad as some say. My first trip was in 2002 and tons of my family n friends said to put money in passport when they check. It’ll go smoother . I did and went smooth compared to guy next line over. He was harassed and was took to another room. I’m sure he has a story what went down . Also you can supposedly bring 1 smart phone and can be fined or taken away. Just put any and all phones in your pocket because at the checkpoint for luggage, they only scan the things with you and your gonna walk thru nothing.

You'll went in 2017 to Vietnam? I also visited Vietnam that year and man, I will never forget the one hour wait at the immigration counter

Brings back memories of of trip last year, we flew Vietnam Airlines from Melbourne and when we arrived at the baggage pick up, our bags were off the carousel waiting for us. We flew premium economy(first time), but just one of the nice extras you pay for.

This video is super old but especially during the pandemic and not being able to see your family from overseas in about 4 years is honestly a sad realization but I’m gonna be going back to visit in 3 months and can’t wait! So, you guy (and me, vietnamese living abroad) are no longer able to walk in that airport anymore, because a few years later, new airport will be puted to use.

Thanks for filming the arrival procedure and heading out the airport. I been to Ho Chi Minh once, July of 2019 and it's nice and awesome. I am revisiting Ho Chi Minh at the end of May.

My first trip to Saigon and vietnam. I took the taxi from the airport. Where you make the queue. I knew the price was around 200000 dong. I was watching the meter and just before arrive to my hotel i had a look outside. When i look again the meter the price was 500000 dongs. The taxi scammer shouting at me when i asked him why it was so expensive. I was so tired by my trip that i paid him but it didn’t hapened a second time as i used grab after that. Theses taxi scamers doing this since many years but the vietnamese government do nothing. What a shame! I live 20 years in thailand and it’s never hapened to me there. There is many scammers in vietnam so be aware. Thailand is so much better in every points. Vietnam👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I also ordered a taxi here and they said we will leave right away, but another passenger comes and they put another guy in the taxi (?) who we took to his destination first.. Anyway, it is much more expensive than GRAB, so I don't recommend it to anyone. 😞

Why do they say booking a taxi at those counters is a scam?

I'm curious how long did it take you to get out of the airport. As for me try 1hr 45 minutes. 20 minutes just to take off the bloody plane ,5 minutes to immigration,45 minutes in the queue,5 minutes to get luggage good news there it was waiting for me no surprise there & 30 minutes detained by customs all because I was honest about declaring money then I got in trouble for it. So much for bloody declaring.
