Wow awesome job on that wheel barrow

When I did my stone house, the outside walls were 11 inches out of square. I did not know what to do and decided to go with it, cutting the roof timbers to suit, the wall differences are not noticed now. So go with the out of plumb stonework and make it up with a thicker lime render on that wallbase. Lime plaster is easy to work with and easy to lay on thicker.

Verrrrrrry good idea to build a dirt ramp through the entry.

Hi guys, well you’re a natural with the little track dumper most people spend the first few hours pulling wheelies and trying there best to stay on the thing much to the amusement of the rest of the guys on site and most of all the digger driver. Your project is really starting to take shape and mini machinery really makes a big difference but most importantly having a cup of tea is a must and gives you all important time to ponder how you are going to tackle the next job.👍

Did not even know such a thing like a power barrow exists! Great fun to drive with it. Only wise to be slow in the beginning.

Im very concerened that you have only used a handful of nails to fix in those spliced beams in by the window.

Please use at least five bolts per beam. All that load bearing weight on a handful of nails is a big worry.

Regards your drainage issues, ask in a local groudworks expert, you need to install land drains and especially around the farm buildings

Gav look in his aliment putting the frame up. That digger and dump truck is very handy and will save you a few hours back breaking work to move all stone and dirt by hand. And of course someone has to guard the chair. Thank you for the update

Would it not be easier to work if you have a clean working space downstairs by picking up al the debris....

The problems you face when renovating older properties are far out weighed by the fact you get more building for your money,some of the problems like out of plumb walls are a choice between stud out to plumb or accept it as it is .I have worked on 400 yrs old buildings where accept it as it is ,is the only option, but on others we used metal stud to get over the issues, any way ,looking good you two and at the end you know it's your hard work that has made it what it is .
