HMX 3.9mm Sunset Gleam | Sound Test & Review

Very nice switches! Sorta long and heavy throw. Seem very quality. So little wobble. Satisfying poppy clack on release. When you jumped to other brands from HMX in the sound test the difference was so noticeable. Gosh the Oil King is always so bad, hahaha.

Is this wholly unrelated to the BSUN Sunset Yellow lol. So many switches that share a name now!

THOCC, I'm not going to lie. I only noticed that back of that box just now. I had to flip my box over to believe it. They put a picture of a duck's button on the packaging!

Also, I agree. The HMX Sunset Gleam switches feel okay to type on. It sounds a little more muted compared to the Xinhai, Cheese, Hyacinth V2U and the V2. I use the Sunset Gleam on days where I want to have the slightly less full sounding clacky sound signature.

I like the sound profile of these, less harsh than usual, and yea fairly round like you said. The theme is cute, while not a personal favorite im glad that there are specialized themes like these because one day i might get a theme that is perfect for ME ^^ Thanks for the review!
