Ears need to train to hear resonance. Most people listen to Dimash not even understand how seriously strain is, how resonance sounds and how good techniques are. Hopefully, singers who want to have a long term career don’t step on Dimash way. If you want to say Dimash techniques were praised by vocal coaches. The only thing I can tell you that those vocal coaches are either bad or doing it for views. Believe it or not. Good singers not keep their voice supported and healthy for fun. Dimash is young. We will see how Dimash sounds in next couple years, and don’t lie to yourselves that he doesn’t sound worse, exhausted and dark while in his 30s, when most of people in at least this video, hit their prime and also well-known for their good resonance. I mean the true resonance, not the broken Dimash’s resonance.

But I must admit: maybe Dimash outrageous pushed and broken technique are praised because he’s one of extraordinary singers who can choose to sacrifice his voice career. Most people are alright for listening to an ordinary singer who can sing barely 2 octaves many years, but listening to a bad high notes as Dimash’s sound is only bringing up desire to hear a higher one, just a lot of people overrated him like that, and don’t forget Dimash is really young when he did his super-strain notes. People like him don’t know how bad was that sound. Again, you don’t believe, just come back and tell me how would he sound in next couple of years. I have a better idea for Dimash fan, try to sing like him is the better way to testify how struggle Dimash is to make those bad notes. Don’t forget to feel your throat. Good luck with that.
