Where can one get this kit?
ОтветитьI thought it would be much more complicated but you made it look very very simple and easy. Thank you for taking the time brother.
ОтветитьHi would this be the same way on an ebike ..thanks good video
ОтветитьWhere can I buy the bleed kit??
ОтветитьWould this be the same process for p1 pro
ОтветитьI did exactly what you did and it did not work
ОтветитьHi, ive done this but my regain break isn't working now. Any idea's?
ОтветитьGreat demo 😃 thanks for sharing
ОтветитьYou made that look easy
ОтветитьWhat did you do when you put the syringe in the break leaver?
ОтветитьHow do I align the disk break on the rear tire. It scrapes when it spins
ОтветитьHello my p1 pro just came in and I’m new to this. 1) when and why would one need to replace the oil? 2) if I set my regen brake level at 5, how long would the brake pads last? Thanks!!!
ОтветитьHow much oil do I put in the syringe?
ОтветитьLike others have said, this video is 100% I bled the nutt rear brake on my Mukata 10+ just yesterday for the first time and I've never bled brakes before. Made a mess for sure and had to wipe down the whole caliper with iso but for the first time doing this, it worked great! I certainly wont worry about bleeding in the future. Great video hands down, nice and short and straight to the point. Hats off to you sir.
ОтветитьDo you do the same procedure with the front wheel?
ОтветитьWere can I buy this syringe
Ответитьso last hour trying to find a kitt. that has oil and brake stop.......... yea not happening. wtf is wrong with stores. no1 carrys anything, no 1 sells complete sets. i just dont get it.
ОтветитьI do appreciate this video, I honestly do. It's well shot, descriptive & tells you what you'll need beforehand.
What I don't understand is, why must every command be prefaced with "go ahead and..."?
("Go ahead and loosen the brake lever...", "Next, you'll want to go ahead and remove the bolts for the caliper..."). I realize the problem here is me, but it's like an epidemic now, a verbal tick that's spread throughout the entire English speaking world. Now that I'm noticing it, it's like nails on a chalkboard.
Suppose I'll "go ahead and piss off" now.
Hello sir! I'm from Austria and have completely converted my scooter Xiaomi 1S (see my last short) and yesterday I bought very expensive Nutt brakes in the scooter shop for €175! But because I removed the oil hoses for the front and rear of all 2 brakes so that I could put the oil hoses in the holes in the scooter and lay them nicely, a little oil came out of the front and rear brakes! I have to bleed the brakes now! I saw your great video 👍 and did the same thing with the rear brake as in your video. Problem: the rear brake pads which I bled just like in your video, when I press the brake levers the brake pads come together but they don't go all the way back to their original position! 🤔 But just like in the video, I pressed the brake lever a lot at the end until there was no more air coming in and then I closed this little screw at the top again. I did it a second time but there was enough oil in the rear brake of the scooter motor! Question: Since there is enough oil in the rear brake, I only need to do it at the top of the brake lever so that the pistons go all the way back! Should I just open the small screw at the top and connect the short hose with the 20mm syringe and press the brake lever often until no more air comes out? But could that be the problem because I didn't screw the front brake onto the handlebars and didn't straighten it when bleeding! I screwed the upper brake on diagonally towards the ground and bled it because I can no longer get the upper brake lever open. Does the position of the brake lever at the top of the handlebars necessarily have to be screwed on and placed in a straight position? Could this be the problem why my pistons don't go all the way back in the NUTT brake because I had the upper brake lever towards the ground and not in a straight position like in the video?? Kind regards 🙂
ОтветитьDo you think this Brakes are compatible for mtb bikes?
ОтветитьThank you - just successfully did my brakes. :)
ОтветитьWas going to do a full bleed and change my pads but before I did so just wanted to know a few extra things
Would I be able to remove the pads and just put the block into the calliper without the old pads do the bleed and replace with new pads after? Or should I replace the pads first then do the bleed
Last thing on my rear break I had an issue and had to realign my calliper with the adjustment screws on the top (that allow the calliper to move back and forth) when I replace the pads should I unscrew them and hold the break down and tighten them to align the breaks? Or is that not how it’s done
Thank you a lot if you get back with a reply :)
I used this video to perfectly, easily, and cleanly bleed Nutt brakes on a Rad Rover 6 plus e-bike. After seeing so many posts on how difficult this process has been for others, I was reluctant to even try, but I'm glad I did. Did this job in under an hour and for $25 for kit and oil. Thank You!!!!!
Ответитьbruh.. I thought I had to take the cable off on the caliper that needs a star tork lol. Thats why I put m scooter way last night and thought id take it to my friend at a car shop, guess i can actually finish this job before work on my death trap lmao
ОтветитьWhy on earth did you not remove the brake pads? You could have easily contaminated those brake pads and the rotor ?
ОтветитьGreat vid! Which bleeding kit did you use in this demo? Wondered if you could provide a link to it
ОтветитьI can't find a syringe/reservoir attachment that can reach my Dualtron Thunder 3 brake lever opening to do it :(... any recommendation is very much appreciated (I bought two kits and non of them work for the brake lever.
ОтветитьGreat vid but you left out one of the most important things….what oil to use 😫
There’s probably thousands of different mineral oils in the world
Колодки можно выкидывать
Ответитьwhere do I get the syringes and what type of mineral oil?
ОтветитьHow often it has to be change the oil for new in the system ?
ОтветитьHey, what is the oil type that you used ?
The red one for Shimano/Tektro is leaking
Thank you man this vudeo helped me out alot
ОтветитьCongratulations for the video. A question: Can the stroke of the NUTT hydraulic brake lever be adjusted only by bleeding the brake fluid or is there another easier way?
Ответитьalways remove the pads to prevent contamination prior bleeding
ОтветитьWhere did you get the bleed kit from thank you ?
ОтветитьGreat video! I just bought a makuta 10+ and got a brake power off reminder. It only comes on when I apply brake pressure. Do you by chance know what this means? Brakes still seem to be doing ok but want to make sure I’m not missing something important.
ОтветитьCan you link the bleed kit?
ОтветитьThank you brother ❤
ОтветитьLink to the bleed kit please my fittings don’t seem to fit on my set
ОтветитьGarbage brakes
ОтветитьWhat is the fitting to connect the syringe to the lever and caliper?
ОтветитьI've just tried to do this but something went wrong. ... Now there is no braking power at all!!
Totally messed up and i don't know how tp fix it...
Hey just wondering, where did you get the syringes and pipes from ? I want to do this to my solar scooter as my brakes are terrible and struggling to stop currently,I have to keep squeezing it multiple times to even get any response from it.
ОтветитьYou didn't mention anything about clamping the hoses when and where. Also, nothing about how to re-adjusting the brakes. Most videos, they go back and forth between the top syring and bottom, but you don't think it's necessary?
ОтветитьMaybe preferable to remove the disks before fitting the brake block (no oil gets on the disk this way)?
ОтветитьHola, que modelo de pastillas usa ese caliper?
ОтветитьI supposedly have this brand on my Lectric ebike but don’t see the name ANYWHERE but I’m about to bleed & replace my pads myself for the first time & this video is super helpful. Bought a bleed kit, pads, new rotors, & a freewheel & a tool to remove the freewheel. Time to learn😂
ОтветитьI followed your video step by step but still I have no brake pressure even after pumping the brake handle it seems to do nothing? Any ideas how I can resolve this please?. I’ve checked & there are no leaks.
