Play These Switch 2 Hidden Gems INSTEAD of Mario Kart World

Nintendo really went hard with the launch racing games. MKW, Fast Fusion and Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer(I know, other consoles too). I didn't mind it, but it would have been nice to had DK Bananaza ready for launch.

Thank you for spotlighting Fast Fusion. Between Mario Kart and F-Zero GX on NSO, the game was kind of doomed to be overlooked at launch. But it's an extremely fun and engaging racing game that really tests your skills. Shin'en deserves all the love in the world.

Kit & Krysta, I LOVE you guys for mentioning Kunitsu-Gami. It's the most refreshing and unique gaming experience I've had in a long time! We need more people to support this game! If anyone is on the fence about it, try it! It's an amazing game.

Omg there’s literally so much to play on the Switch 2 haha. With my Switch 1 backlog that I haven’t gotten into since Switch 1 to the new releases on Switch 2 like Mario Kart World, I find myself switching between different games every couple of hours! At this point I won’t be able to finish a game 😂

I'm just chilling with Fanatsy Life i on my Switch 2, such an amazing game. The game literally stole my time as all I want to do now is just keep playing the game.

One cool fact about kunitsugami is that everything you see was hand made and then scanned into the game. The environments are all dioramas

as a kid i didnt know that much english back in the gamecube days, the amount of hours ive spent into soul calibur 2 is insane.

For people who like Rune Factory, I recommand a lot Harvestella. Such a hidden gem from 2022 Square Enix. The world is so beautiful and the characters/story are really great for that kind of game. There is farm gameplay, but the bigger focus is the character and story. Also the soundtrack by Go Shiina is awesome. My only nitpick it's the lack of voice acting and the "blandness" of the usual silent protagonist.

I bought Rune Factory for Switch 2, but I don't own a Switch 2. It has the Switch 1 version on it, so I can play it there 'til I get around to buying one :D Very happy about that, and I hope there are more games like that. Come on, Metroid!

I’d strongly suggest Bravely Default HD as well. Loved it on the 3DS and the remake is really great.

The announcement of Resident Evil 9 and no information about a Switch 2 version is proof that this console was born obsolete.

Seeing Rune Factory get attention makes me really happy. Been a fan most of my life, played every game, and this one is easily the most accessible to newcomers on top of just being really darn good. Anybody who likes the combat aspect of Stardew Valley and also wants to experience a structured narrative alongside that will love it.

Deltarune Ch 1-4 is also available on the Original Switch according to the developers website.

Fantasy Life i is the best game for me right now tbh haha

I bought the switch 2 on release to play old games with stutter issues and kunitsu-gami in handheld. I wish more people would play it, or try the pc demo to see if theyd like it. Very bizarre mixture of mechanics that won’t be for everyone but the artstyle and attention to detail is second to none and it’s so nice to play it docked or handheld, a great on the go game.

I actually downloaded Rune Factory: GoA because I heard you talking about it. It sounded cool that it had so many things to do in a single game. Relationships with other characters, farming, town building, combat, an actual calendar, so many materials. Etc. Did I mention the flying dragon and the sky islands? 😂😂

Sadly the graphics look so dated. Like it was made in mind with the switch one in mind first. But eventually I got used to the look of the game. Characters look 10/10 though.

Rune Factory is an amazing game for people that love farming games and RPGs! RF is one of my favorites franchises so I'm happy this new game is getting so much love!

Don't sleep on F-Zero GX! Gamecube emulator upscales to 4K 60fps, and GX has native widescreen support. For a game from 2003, that was very forward-looking.

Would love kunitsu-gami however if there is no physical version sadly i do not buy.

Mario Kart World isn't "meh", but Mario Kart has always been a game for me to play daily in short bursts.

I definitely only play Mario Kart World in shorts bursts and then play other stuff for longer periods of time. Usually 10-15 minutes is long enough for me to be furious with losing Knockout Tour in the final stretch a few times.

Also, Fast Fusion is kind of pointless if you have the NSO + Expansion Pack and access to F-Zero GX in the GameCube app. Why play an imitation? Play the real deal!

Street Fighter 6 is insanely great, the Online is legit great and it has crossplay! would Highly recommend it!

It's not a Switch 2 game but I have been continuing my journey with The Hundred Line : Last Defence Academy in between Mario Kart World races on my Switch 2. Oh my goodness this game just keeps on going and keeps on giving ... It's been amazing.

Don't skip!

I've been excited for Kunitsu-Gami since the initial reveal and I can't recommend it more, especially that it has a demo too. Steam told me "Similar to Hades and Bloons TD" and that just made me laugh how accurate that description is🤣🤣 It's a must play.
And side note: Capcom has been on an unstoppable roll lately, they have not missed in a looooooong time.

The only Switch 2 exclusive games I have so far are Mario Kart World and Fast Fusion (plus GameCube). I'm really just excited to have a better system to play Switch 1 games on with a 1080P screen.
