Wow I have the exact same hair as you it's so hard to style and so hard to manage I have unmanageable wavy hair ! I usually keep it pretty short and just use some pomade to the side , also I put some oils like Argan oil and coconut oil to keep it moist because I think it's more manageable to style when it has some moisture :)

how long does your hair remain pliable though? because my hair is just like yours super thick but it only remains straight for a few hours even with product in.

Is the length of your hair the same on top ? Or do you have layers where one side is longer than the other ... like me ... not sure of I should keep it that way
