Not you comparing Queen to good news..when Queen was actually a dope ass album. It was just overlooked due to drama.

I have yet to hear the whole album...but as much as we all love Meg, am I the only one who feels like she was a little rushed to put out her DEBUT album? I know she has several mixtapes under her belt, but the SUGA mixtape was so huge with songs like Captain Hook and of course Savage. I feel like she should’ve just let Suga marinate, still put out the Savage remix, Girls in the Hood, and Don’t Stop, and then dropped the album next year. Despite the pandemic, we got a lot of music from her this year, which is not a bad thing, but it’s just a lot and sometimes that leads to the quality going down. Just some thoughts. Still totally here for it though!

Its a flop for me it sounds like a basic rap album. Im really tired of the excuses that are made for her and why she does the things that she do. Its her character its who she is. Just my opinion but people need to be held accountable for their actions.

Im starting to believe Meg mama wrote w/ her for them first few albums, cause once she left 1501 & SUGA & Good News is trash!!

I think Meg knows what kind of records make her money, so she makes them. Her tracks about independence, fucking, shaking her ass, etc., all make her money. Could be a label push or who she is as an artist, but she knows what her fans want, and that's what she gave. Fever and Suga were much stronger and more versatile projects.

I'm fine with Megan releasing songs about sex but I was a little disappointed to hear the majority of the songs were about the same thing. I don't mind songs like those, it would just be nice if she could switch it up and add songs of different topics in addition.

I love Megan but the album was okay. It wasn't terrible but she can definitely do better.

There will never be another female rapper who can create the same emotional, social, and global impact with their music as Onika has done for the past 12 years. Megan lacks versatility. A key ingredient needed for longevity. Doja Cat remains the only artist from this new era surpassing industry standards and expectations. Like Nicki, her versatility is aiding her impact. Meg should focus on rebranding herself, creating timeless music, and avoiding industry trends/drama. In clear contrast, Onika never centered her artistry on industry trends. She was and still is the trendsetter. Her discography is the formula for global success. Unfortunately, Megan is a freestyle rapper and not an entertainer, which is why her impact remains lackluster across the charts.

It’s the understanding for her situation for me! Her drinking and stuff, its so much more than she goes thru behind the scenes and I feel like a lot of us can relate to it.

I feel she has some tracks that were meant for this album that she has taken off because she was probably working on this before the incident but then the incident happened and she wanted to talk about it. So.....I feeeeel some of it was rushed because she came up with new tracks to address everything. I’ve noticed she has trouble removing unnecessary filler tracks.

i think we're used to her collabs where she gives us Hottie gang cherry on top but when it comes to her personnal songs where she gets deepper maybe we kinda miss that but she can't always be "easy to digest" sorta say all the time, you should do a grey area between bop and flop like blop, idk like it's not bad but it's not either the easiest go to day-to-day listen
