As someone with sensitive skin I am only able to use the CosRx snail products. The others look visually appealing, but I am not willing to risk my face.

The arencia mochi facial wash ruined my skin barrier. I used the rosehip ones, not fun at all 🫩

you're soo on spot about the cosrx snail essence, my mom keeps purchasing it even though i ask her to try something new or trendy. however she has very sensitive dry skin and thats her holy grail for sure!

Arencia's cleanser textures are horrible. Another hype i dont get. I thought mochi feeling (in skincare) meant fluffy, bouncy and soft idk😢

Unnie, I can’t believe you’re into that snail essence after not liking it previously 😁 As I said before, it’s my sister’s holy grail. She used it throughout her pregnancy and was the first thing she took into her hands when she was able to stand after pushing my niece out. She’s obsessed with it.

As a dry sensitive girly I loved the cosrx snail mucin until I developed an allergy to an ingredient in it 😭

Are via was the same for me but it also left a kind of weird film on my skin and I did broke up in strange areas. I wondered about peel off mask because it kind of works as an occlusive layer but is so messy that I don’t reach out for it, like at all. Thanks ☺️

Cosrx snail mucin is my HOLY GRAIL 😭 I can’t live without it 🥲 I used to be so acne prone—whenever an acne goes away, another one pops up. I already got help from dermatologists but nothing worked. I was really frustrated and thought nothing could ever work for me anymore—- until i tried this product! It really saved my skin and strenghtened my skin barrier and keeps my skin moisturized. Now I rarely have acne anymore. I only use cosrx snail mucin and their all in one cream. I have oily skin btw!

Physical scrubs with powders (rice) or granules (minerals) actually cause abrasion of skin, inflammation and consequent surface swelling, which is why the skin feels smooth right after using it. But the reality is that the skin is slightly bruised, and once the swelling goes away (in a day or so), the skin looks damaged. So I'm absolutely agreeing that this is not the way to clean your skin.

If you want to remove the dead cells from the surface of the face, chemical exfoliants are much, much, much healthier in the long run. Look for AHAs, BHAs and PHAs and you'll strike gold.

I think K-Beauty influencers are borderline crossing the line with their attempt to go viral. I just cannot escape the videos of the pinpoint thingy, the arencia huge tub cleanser and recently using all the different colors in that medicube moisturizer and then sort of melting them with the device. It encourages over consumption and potential damage to skin barrier. I know it's just for clout and entertainment but the try hard behaviour to become viral has become too much.

Honestly, the skincare market has gone insane, especially the korean market. Yikes. It feels like it's going to implode any time now...

I like the arencia but it needs to be at least a bit lathered first before I put smear it on my face so that I can rinse it off better. For the wrapping mask, I actually like it. I just make sure I have maybe 2-3 layers on. It’s cheaper than biodance.

Let's also talk about the Celimax retinal that people dot all over their face...like do you know what a retinal is and how potent it is. That is way too much product.

Hi Soo i just wanted to let you know that (as a hispanic) youre saying "pero" wrong. You're saying "perro", which means dog. The r in pero is pronounced like the Ts in "better".

I have the night wrapping mask and agree too annoying for the face BUT it’s great on your neck. After all skin care has settled a slab of that across my neck ( especially center part ) and wow

A wrapping mask that's not transparent or super runny is the I'm from rice wrapping mask. It's got a chewy mochi rice texture as well

I have sensitive skin but Arencia worked fine for me. The scrub was gentle.

For the collagen peel off mask, the CKD Collagen Retinol Peel Off Pack is great. Doesn’t require a lot and peels off very easily

Tiktok is a whole other world cause I don't use it and I've literally never heard of any of these products except the snail mucin 💀

I was thinking it might be a good option for protecting the skin while sleeping when you have a lot acne in one specific area like the chin?

What do you think of medicube one day pdrn vials vs rejuran pdrn?

I love these videos, I also don't think there's any benefit to wearing the medicube peeling mask more than 1, maybe 2, hours. And being the reedle shot flooding, I've seen people do this with retinol/retinal products! 🤔 That's a big no bueno

I have the whipped cleanser and while I like it smells like strawberry and cleanses well at times it can feel slightly irritating unsure why.

One I really can’t wrap my head around is the whole “eating skincare” thing — even Round Lab showed their SPF spread on toast! And that’s in the context of an influencer actually dying after consuming skincare products. Some of these trends aren’t just silly — they can be genuinely harmful and dangerous.
