Haven't tried HEET but I'll get some. We store Camp Heat. Thanks for sharing!!
Edited...Those green canisters on the shelf behind and above your head...we have those too for a larger stove. I think. I'm pretty sure :)
For your coffee cup and smaller stuff, flip the stand over.
ОтветитьI bought this stove some months ago and give it a four star out of five. A great stove and stand for hiking and emergency use. I tested it in the field and feel a windscreen will improve boil time. I make mine from a couple of aluminium cans. This is a great stove kit. I may buy another for my emergercy bug out kit.
ОтветитьI like this guy, he tells it like it is....you can find that yellow bottle of heet at Walmart back were the oil is ... it's the cheapest and cleanest alcohol you can burn 🔥for a little over a dollar and it don't black up your cooking pan.
ОтветитьIf you use a Stanley cup or another small cup flip the alcohol stan upside down and if you run out of alcohol u can burn 🔥wood 🪵under that stan ....BEEN THERE AND DID THAT...backup plan..Lol
ОтветитьTabasco. Made in my area. If you're ever in south Louisiana. I suggest taking the tour. Awesome place
ОтветитьFor smaller stuff and still stay stable lay 2 tent pegs across the tops of the stands 2 ends on one and other ends on the other 2 and it works fine good video by the way
ОтветитьThis is a great review. Keep it up. Can't wait to see another one.
ОтветитьGreat review. Bought one three weeks ago and did the same test. It’s a great stove and the price was right. No pretense here, cheap is good as long as it works effectively. Thank you.
ОтветитьMine is a different brand but it looks EXACTLY the same in every way. I think they are all the same one, being sold by many different people, but some might be painted a different colour. I'm well impressed with it. I found wind didn't really reduce the heat very much - it blew some heat away but also increased the heat output with a roaring flame - it just burned up the fuel more quickly, like blowing on a campfire.
ОтветитьWind makes it fail. Also how well does the seal work?
ОтветитьI use an old cough medicine bottle to carry fuel in.
ОтветитьMine arrived a few days ago, but haven't had a chance to use it. Helpful demo, thanks!
Ответитьperfect review, thank you so much, take care!
ОтветитьLiquor store had a half off sale on 190 Everclear a few months ago. I'm set for stove fuel for life now I'm pretty sure. The cashier did give me an eyebrow raise when I took it all up to the till though.
ОтветитьGood ideal for outdoors, thanks for shares.
ОтветитьIf You want a very sturdy & recycled
fuel bottle for a couple of burns , try
a 5hr. energy bottle ( You either can
drink it & then use the bottle , or maybe find a empty bottle & use it )
it holds 2oz.
From another old wolf, thanks for the video. I've been looking at this little stove lately. I've kind of got a thing again for small and different type stoves. I'm looking at a neat little wood gas stove recently too. It comes with a flippable insert that can be used to set an alcohol stove or fuel tabs on. This little stove would work well in there I think.
Ответить200 ML bottles of Everclear for fuel. You can carry them sealed for highway travel, open one for cooking and consume the leftovers. Great video and thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьIt's made of brass not copper.
Ответитьyou could fit more stuff if you turn the stand around, Good review.
ОтветитьI've heard some of the Trangia's crimped area leaked at rare occasion. I Got one of the soldered ones from Firebox Stove.
In that: if yours ever begins to leak at the crimp, I'd dare to say you can take it to a local jeweler and have the crimp seam soldered, After airing out. ~ If small enough torch used, it's only a small area of discoloring of brass...and mention to them. (just saying)
Spirit Burner is great for steaming veggies in a Billy pot...quietly. (14cm)
Prolly 'nuff fuel left for a small mess of fish...in light anodized Alu. pan.
Nice presentations
May you give me a link to buy it from amazon 🙏
Has it changed colors over time?. You could drill a few hole's and put tent stakes through for your mugs. I seen it on Amazon and I'll get it mainly for the stand. I have a Valken I dig.
ОтветитьI've been thinking about getting one of them stoves tony.thanks for the video
Ответитьawesome Tony that is so cool I like how it is small but can still cook ramen and even soup. Thank you for sharing have a great day and God bless
ОтветитьOutstanding
Ответитьi Take Mine Hunting with me. Works Good.
ОтветитьEnjoyable video .
ОтветитьLooks like a nice little stove. Thanks.
ОтветитьI have that same one and use Denatured Alcohol in it. Works great.
ОтветитьI have a couple of these stoves. They're great. However, I tried burning white gas once. The flames got out of control and was a huge fire risk. Heet is the best way to go.
