ОтветитьLoved this tutorial, keep it up! Could we use this method to show items in a detail fragment? Like if I clicked on an cardview in a recyclerview, it'd open a new fragment, and I could retrieve the items from a specific child, based on the cardview, instead of all the children as the video shows?

ОтветитьHi, if i can read a The ultimate value of children, just the ultimate
Example: i have 4 childrens i just need the all the values of the 4, and when i "Press send data to database" i need the ultimate children with the values
Can you please help me? I am not understanding how you are going deeper below the children of foo to get the data from "description". When i try it, it is giving me a hashmap instead of string. my error is "Failed to convert value of type java.util.HashMap to String". I believe that I am not going deeper into the child of foo. How can I resolved this?

ОтветитьTips!! And take note..
When creating a model class that will be use to save data on firebase you should always have a constructor with blank parameter because when you retrieve data from Database you will get a error if your model class doesn't have the empty parameter constructor.. i encountered that problem it took me an our to figure it out since my debugger logcat not working so i tried to debug it manually.
