Her mother didn't want her to use the coloured lenses so she hid it inside a plant pot (yes, with soil and stuff)

I got lasik 8 years ago and even i felt a searing eye burn when i heard “8 months”

I always wore my contacts way longer than I should and one day my eyes rebelled and I developed an allergic reaction to the protein that builds up on the contacts. Let me tell you, a rash on the inside of your eye lid is a great deterrent to over wearing contacts. I still can wear them almost a decade later. Still get that damn rash after just a few hours.

We all have those times when you fall asleep with them in. It happens. Hell, I did it yesterday. So freaking irritating. IDK how people go for weeks without taking them out.

one time i fall asleep with my contacts and when i woke up i had to be under the blankets and wear sunglasses because my eyes couldnt withstand any amount of light 😂 but ppl say their friends wear them for years.. lmao how

i had color contacts to make my eyes purple girls loved it . Had them 8 yrs because i took care of them.

I had a coworker who got contacts for the first time while we worked together. Similar issue. I don't think it was that long though. Long story short, he pretty much got a serious eye infection and lost like 80% vision for 2 months. I don't think he ever completely got his vision back because they revoked his driver's license. Didn't stop him from driving though... :/

A friend and I got matching blue contact lenses. His went into the back of his eye. He was really freaking out what should have taken 5 minutes or less took 15. I was so pissed that he wouldnt calm down.

I don’t know how people can sleep in them. I used to wear them as a teen. I did fall asleep with them in on a handful of times by accident, and it felt so painful as soon as I woke up. I’ve only used daily disposables, btw. Years later, I’ve developed an allergy to the contacts materials and I need bifocals, so I feel there is no point in wearing them now.

I wear contacts for work. And take them out as soon i get home, cleab them and put them in solution till next day... they are the disposable kind and i never wear them for longer than 2 months (my usage is limited, mind you)
