Tim McCarver's voice is baseball ⚾
ОтветитьThe greatest pitcher to have ever lived.
ОтветитьOnly had 1,714 more afterwards
Ответитьlol Then goes on to strike out 1714 more batters.
ОтветитьThe pre-woke MLB era
ОтветитьClass acts back then. If this would have happened today, there's be hip hop music playing, teammates would be running out on the field with their hats on backwards throwing water or whatever it is they throw today. The game has turned into a comic fest.
ОтветитьI was there!! Greatest live sports moment of my life, so far. Thanks Mr. Ryan for all you've done for baseball. Now let's beat those Phillies!!!!
ОтветитьI was at this game seated a few rows behind the Astros dugout. I’ll never forget the loud pop every time his fastball hit the catcher’s mitt. My all time favorite player.
ОтветитьI’m not sure someone will ever pass 5,714 strikeouts. That’s just insane
ОтветитьGood start in his 20th season and he retired 8 years after that with 1,714 strikeouts more
ОтветитьFans really like this.
ОтветитьIf Ryan had played with better teams, he would have won 400 games.
ОтветитьAnybody else notice the Ks 😂
ОтветитьLove those classic Astros unis.
ОтветитьNolan was unconscious. When you are Roger Clements hero, you the badest man on the mound. NO ONE will top his K mark. NO ONE!! His 7 no hitters say he was amazing. He was the best RIGHT handed pitcher I ever saw and I saw a few greats.
ОтветитьDear pitchers and athletes today, let Mr. Ryan be your example.
ОтветитьHe took that moment like any camp day jejeje jejeje jejeje jejeje jejeje
ОтветитьTHOSE HAVE TO BE THE SCARIEST UNIFORMS SINCE VANCOUVER CANUCKS ,.... STILL ,..it represented a fun time,..long ago ,..
ОтветитьI remember him as a Met. Worst trade they ever made - Ryan for Jim Fregosi. I even had his rookie card and gave all of my baseball cards (except my '68 Tom Seaver card, which I still have) to my next door neighbor when we moved in '73. I still kick myself for that.
ОтветитьI hope he kept that ball
ОтветитьNo Gatorade bucket or acting ignorant. Nothing but class from Nolan Ryan.
ОтветитьA total class act indeed.
ОтветитьPut him on the Orioles or Reds in the 70's, or Yankees in the 80's, he wins 370 games. The teams he played for couldn't combine hitting and fielding. He led the NL in ERA in 1987, yet finished 8-16. The Angels in the 70's sucked while he was there (no hit, no field). The Astros could field, but couldn't hit. The Rangers could hit but couldn't field. Put him on the Orioles and he wins 25 games a season, each season (though his walk totals would have given Earl Weaver fits).
ОтветитьNobody on a cell phone!
ОтветитьThe best power pitcher ever in the history of Baseball.
ОтветитьWhat a nasty curve. He was known for that 100 mph fastball and people always forget the curve
ОтветитьRyan always had the best grunt when he threw that fastball
ОтветитьDanny Heep was a complete scumbag. His wife was a drunk bitch. Couldn't ask for a better 4,000th victim than that shithead.
ОтветитьBest pitcher in my generation. Maybe the best of all-time. Imagine how much better his W/L record would have been had he played for teams who consistently had winning records? He played many years on a bad Angels team.
ОтветитьWish pitchers had his toughness today. The man was a beast!
ОтветитьFour of those strikeouts were against Tim McCarver. I'm surprised it was only four.
ОтветитьLook at the date this game was played.
ОтветитьThe complete opposite reaction to Rickey Henderson's all-time steals moment.
ОтветитьHis 5k + strikeouts and his 7 no hitters will never be broken
ОтветитьThose jerseys are DOPE
ОтветитьRyan is a beast.
ОтветитьThose Astros uniforms lololololololol
ОтветитьNolan Ryan is the founder and 1st member of the 4,000 strikeout club
ОтветитьI think Heep struck out on purpose, just to get in the record books.
ОтветитьThere's no way in hell Ryan didn't take PED's I mean the guy was like 43 years old still throwing 98-99 mph lol
Ответитьi was at this game!
ОтветитьPlayers strike out way to much in todays game. Years ago teams looked down on striking out. Babe Ruth never struck out 100 times in a season. Now there are players with 200 k's in a season. I think it all started with Reggie Jackson. After him teams excepted it.
ОтветитьGreat moment in MLB History
Please check my channel out
Only way he was able to player n dominate at an old age is STEROIDS just like Clemens
ОтветитьWhats the matter donnie mad cause u cant do it?
ОтветитьI love those jerseys
ОтветитьHard fast ball pitchers also throw alot of balls bc ball moves so much
Ответитьthis reminds me of Mr.3000
ОтветитьHe had the most strikeouts, but also the most walks
Ответить
