complexity was added by them when they screwed up half the upgrades ..damaging the basic way the game runs..the basic things never got sorted..there still there.
and they altered how the game runs to make sure you cannot finish. ( the upgrades have been changed to give you levels that are total rubbish.
masses of bandits now that kill your merchants at crossings/bridges.
the screens now flash the levels where releasing prisoners after battle / pink colour is still randomly added / troops starting on top of cliffs or in the sea in the desert areas or coast./the timer strip at the top when leaving a battle area runs to the end and outside the box. they will need the year just to put right the stuff they messed up/ dont get me started about the ladders on castle siege or getting stuck in trees they now have all over the battlefields.

Excellent video! I'd rather wait another whole year if need be, because I always look for Quality over Quantity in everything I purchase. The game is improving overall day by day and I'm sure that we will have a masterpiece on our hands, once it does release and with even further patches and upgrades after release. I've got Crimson Desert, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs Legion to keep me occupied until then. Great detailed and broken down video of M&B2: Bannerlord. Well done!

It seems a bit like they have spent most of the time on bug fixes.
Much of what you mention is not new content, but bug fixes.

If you aren’t going to talk about the actual release date then don’t put it in your title

Well as they’ve sorta said that once the games released in pc that then they’ll focus on the console ports which would be nice as they haven’t gave console bois much news besides it’s coming

I wonder if they fixed the bugged traits. Having traits at character creation didn't actually give you points toward the traits, so if you act honestly in a quest the game recalculates your points and removes your honest trait because you didn't have enough points to unlock it.
Also did they re-implement any way to have a more elaborate banner yet? I was pretty bummed when they removed the ctrl+c/ctrl+v mechanic. Sure, I could use a mod, but I want to be able to report bugs when I encounter them, and having a mod installed invalidates my bug report. And the banner mod was last updated august of last year, it may not even be compatible.

Does anyone know if they have any intention of improving diplomacy further? Recruiting lords to your side needs a lot of work. It doesn't make sense that you can not offer lords fiefs to join your kingdom. One of the main motivators for lords should be gaining more land. I know there are mods for this, but I'd like to see it implimented in game.

This game has certainly come a long way. Can't wait to see what it's like in q4

Faction AI still needs work I think. Being part of AI controlled armies seems to be a death sentence in my experience. Game, imo, really seems to fall apart and becomes nothing but frustrating when joining a faction. Stupid decisions after stupid decisions by AI.

I know it's probably unlikely to add this and it doesn't really matter but I'd like 2 handed weapons and polearms to have their own kick/shield bash mechanics.
Like 2 handed does an bull rush or polearm does a push with the handle.
Shields will always be better but might add some variety to using them.

Too many other things to update/Add/balance before anything like this though. Plus it might make combat toxic af in melee so maybe not.

I still can’t help but feel disappointed with the ATROCIOUS campaign AI.

I played on 1.52 last time and jumping to 1.58 is huge progress. I would like to see some criminal organizations, spy network or bribe lords from other kingdoms to become your agents and cause inside problems and conflicts between clans. Also liked outpost building in viking conquest allowing you to have your base without joining any kingdom.

People want 3 things:
• Working Sieges
• Dedicated Servers
• Modding tools

wait they are seriously already planning the release date? don't get me wrong i love bannerlord but as it stands the game is not nearly finished. there are tons of mechanics missing, the ai is still not smart enough to figure out how to climb siege towers and the leveling still needs a lot fo work. how the hell did they get the idea to announce the full release?

Remember back when games were complete when they got released?

When it finally gets the full release I am foregoing food and sleep until I have played enough!

I found a money making glitch arrange your sister to marry the king of any factions son because the king is rich and part of the agreement you ask for money use the slider you will find your sisters worth over 100k . Cheers sis 👌

All I want to know is will I have to buy the game again when it's fully released.

I hope they will fix that fricken stutter on the campaign map, first versions were ok, then apparently my pc turned into a potato and it stutters alooooooooooooooooooooooooot. Unplayable for me now.

Things to be changed 1. that first quest nesserts folly why you get nothing for doing this quest other then who to talk to to get a banner that also does nothing for you. Changes to be taken is that once you get the Banner you chose then make your own or support make your own then has a castle rebel and join you in the side you chose and you also get 50 party size added with 10 élite units that join you why because by the time you get to this point the AI is running around with armies as big as 1000 you at best 100 lol add in a full party of 4 others at around 80-90 your looking at around 300-400 at most to fight the AIs that are twice that.

I really hope we get some vlandian steel plate armors, even in its early form

Feel like an idiot. I'm watching this on PC, and had it set to fullscreen, he starts reading off his bullet-point summary, and I tried to grab the scroll-bar to scroll the video down and follow along as he read out the list. smh >.<

I don't get videos that keep talking about how great it is that after 1 year they've finally fleshed out most of the perks and yet companions are still nearly butt useless. For some of these you need to get a companion over 150 in 2 skills, one to make them have way decent at governor and another to unlock the skill that, for some reason, only works for companions who are governor. There are huge swaths of the perk system that are still incredibly useless because they're either not practically achievable or take too much effort to reach.

I would like to see plotting and intrigue ( there is a mod call intrigue) you can get assassins, kidnap, wound Ncps . I was hope for some game of thrones style plotting it doesn’t have to be majorly in-depth. But like in warband when you enter city and get ambushed it could work like that but in city tavern or throne room. I am at a point where I don’t need to quest for instance I have high relationships with lots characters and get good weekly money be nice for more stuff to do in peace time.

One time you said something them adding the control of bots after K.O. hopefully that toggle is added like auto block was added.

In late game after creating your own kingdom and you have recruited several lords/clans to your kingdom. You will soon find yourself back to back in several wars as your lords want to vote to go to war all the time, regardless if you might be tied up in 3 wars already.

I was considering starting again but i think i'll wait a bit until 'release' in 'hopefully' june. Quite some nice progress made! Steam workshop will be a lifechanger though.

And yet Spears are still mostly useless on foot.
