I’m in up state NY border of Canada and I am wondering if it’s allowed in NY? The web site says CA/NY compliant but Iv seen people deny that in forums.

I know this video is a year old, but I'm hearing mixed opinions on the legality of using a flash hider on a fixed mag rifle. Any input is much appreciated.

As soon as I get my build, I’m definitely gonna use this so that I can change it back to its normal form as soon as I move out or go to Pennsylvania with no hassle. I’ve seen people use the Franklin Armory DFM, I wonder if it’s a good option since all to change is the bolt catch.

Ordered one an entire month ago and tracking still shows in transit. Their website has a long explanation about how their shipping takes a while and to avoid calling them unless it’s an emergency. That’s abysmal customer service imo. I would run far away from this company.

When the upper is on and you flip the gun upside down, does the metal part stay in place? Probably a dumb question just wondering.

My fngr does not work. I am still able to remove my magazine with it inserted. Is it because I am using M2 10/30 mags? They say its recommended to us M3 10rds but I don't see how that would change anything. Please help lol

Does anyone from CA consider using an angle pistol grip (for example; one made by ledesma arms) which allows the mag to drop and you still have a feasible grip. Just curious.

I'm pretty new to practicing my 2nd amendment right. Are there some ranges where people actually inspect your stuff? I've only been to two ranges so far, one is my local that I've been going to at least 3x a month, and haven't run into that yet. Had no desire to get a long gun until recently so now trying to do my research

Do you have to have a specific lower in order to do this? I am looking to get the DSI DS15 Assembled Typhoon Fixed Magazine Lower Receiver because I live in New York. Will this work with that lower receiver or can you recommend one that will?

but what about jams, double feeds, etc. how can you clear the gun safely when you can not get the action open?

Why do I envision a shady knowledgeable officer examining your "locked" gun, breaking the action open and flipping the gun over and saying oops . Looks like you got a non compliant gun. Turn around for me sir...

Put it on my pinned/welded 14.5 M4 Custom because I wanted a Mil-Spec look with quick options, I carry extra set screws, an Alen key and an extra plate in a baggie in the K2 grip.
