The fact Sylvanas didn’t realize that the Jailer was the one who broke the cycle of life and death to begin with is rather… inane.

This is technically the 4th death of Kel'Thuzad since we killed him in Warcraft 3

Are the dreadlords really in league with the Jailer? I get the impression that they're manipulating the Jailer in some way, why they show up in Torghast disguised as regular mawsworn.

Lol even in his last dying swing Garrosh still feels the need to diss thrall, yelling his name to someone who has no idea who he even is.

I really hate to being negative, but men, the thing they did to Kel´thuzad was a dissaster. Why retcon the motives of a iconic villain, to replaces it with a loyalty for a dude that we just know months earlier. What Blizzard win with that? So it make sense that Kel´thuzad stay at the Jailer side? Men, we kill him 10 minutes later of that "revelation". It´s like they destroy there lore on purpose. Also, no interaction betewen him and Sylvanas is so a wasted potencial, like the writers didin´t even know the conection beetwen the two.

I am so glad I quit the game in Legion, back when the writing was decent enough... this is all over the place... and they pull so much things out of the ass to hype up the "jailer", who let's be honest here for a moment... they used up all their strongest villains already so they had to make a new one from scratch, and he's pretty shit... Sargeras, The Old Gods, The Lich King, Garrosh ... not to mention them retconning most the previous villains to be aware of and in league with the jailer is also just a cheap trick to hype him up... which is pretty bad if you ask me. Only character who stayed true to his character is Garrosh, being the unapologetic cunt that he is.... and his VA killed it. Sylvanas also had potential to be great but this "twist" with "all will serve..." is so cheap and weak... They will probably give her a redemption arc to save anduin and sacrifice herself somehow, even though as a character she is way too far gone to be redeemed, after all the stuff she did... betraying her allies, genocide and all that...

I was honestly hedging my prediction on several WoW villains who died in the past -- namely Kael'thas and Garrosh, and perhaps even Sylvanas in a twist of irony -- being restored to life to have their majorly fucked up character assassination storylines continue and be appropriately redeemed by simpler and far better writing in the next expansion. First time in a while I got a prediction wrong, but oh well.

This whole Sylvanas arc has just been so... poorly executed. Maybe I am crazy for thinking that, it's easy to say something like that when you don't see the whole picture, but the instant Sylvanas gets what her character has been building to for at least 3 expansions (since Vol'jin made her Warchief) she changes her mind? She literally committed genocide, she subjected countless souls to torture so severe they were obliterated. Everything was staked on one thing: the Jailor's stand-up-guy-ness?

This is like when Tom Haverford said "Well hindsight is 20/20" and Leslie Knope responded "I feel like normal sight should have caught that."
