well sounds good but doesnt work for the stage1-14 part...i got apothecary(lvl60) steelskull(lvl60+masteries)peydma(lvl60+masteries) warmaiden (lvl60) armiger lvl50 kael-(lvl60) with some masteries ...all apparently good spiderchamps but regardless how i pair them they allrdy fail hard on stage11 (all in good gear /speedboots-defense or hp chest crit or defense gauntlets if you exclude the missing or bad jewellry)

I have only a Husk (no books, though) and Armiger. It's tough, no damage at all against the spider.

Anyone else really hope he does breakdowns like this for every aspect of the game? Even now when I have a good understanding of the mid-game and transition into the endgame, things like this just make my choices feel more like a proper direction rather then the blindfold jog down the stairs my choices usually feel like.

... & American football would be a better model than football, or, in my case, Aussie Rules, because the roles are so specific in that game. Raid borrows a lot from football manager games

this is the best video i've seen, to help with spider's den.
usually on other videos they say, use champions X, Y and Z, gear them up this way and fight spider 20. i don't have the champions, the gear and am fighting lower stages, so the guides are useless.
here HH talks about strategy, roles and choices for those roles, if you don't have the best champions. this is perfect!
i've been having a lot more trouble with the spider than i should, because i'm mixing strategies and not filling all the roles.
i don't have any hp burn champions, coldheart or any decent decrease TM, so i went with AOE stuns and max HP attacks. this does not work once you reach stage 12. i'm not doing enough damage on the main spider, she always eats spiderlings to get to full health. even if the healer can keep the team alive, i can't finish the fight.
so now i understand better what i need to change. i'm building Armiger and lightsworn for TM control, to replace royal guard and husk, who don't work at this level.

so are the purple coloured ones better or the red ones? Didn't get that.

After the recent changes Elder Skarg is awesome for Spider, even un booked and no masteries. As long as he has Duchess or someone else for survivability he's become a spider beast.

Thanks for this vid! I just got 14 down was having issues with my aoe team. Just happens I have Royal Guard, Coldheart, Tayrel, Miscreated Monster and Apothecary.

Not sure if someone already commented on it or not but which aura would you have running from these champs ? Love these videos and they are helping me alot to focus on what i need to lvl and what i can git rid ofl.

My spider20 team miscreated monster spirit host ultimate galek stag knight and armiger with the exception of spirit hosts speed aura there’s no speed in my team yet it kills it in under 2 minutes

Why do all the folks doing these types of videos seem to always want to have their head green screened into the shot. Is it narcissism? I mean from a presentation standpoint its never a good idea to have your head/body blocking some of the visual material you are trying to present.

Combust poison works pretty well too

Stuck at lvl 10 spiders. Unless I DON'T use auto and put in Zargala (she wastes her devestate on main spider). Armiger's acc is 122 and he keeps getting weak hits on magic affinity....and does NOT reduce the turn meter at all. Mind you, my champions are all lvl 50 (one's am trying, Elhain, Kael, Ignatius, Sarus, Shield Breaker, Apothecary, Battlesage, Smashlord, etc.) except Zargala, my only 6*. Alure is useless on spiders, Armiger is not doing what he suppose too...I can lvl up Lich...but unless I book him out... TM is on a 5 turn cooldown. And I only have about 5 books. I also lvled up Kantra to 5*, got her on Friday. Not sure where to go from here....or who should I 6* next. Kael, Ignatius, Apothecary have masteries done. Am getting frustrated. I am lacking support champs.

Yes helpful, but I'm not sure how to really get the spider 18. I guess I'm now working on getting Royal Guard leveled up, I didn't appreciate previous cold hearts, pulled early, and used to level up other champs.

What has to be high that spiderlings dont attack that champ?

I can not Auto Lvl 14 def a sticking point for me, this does help but only answer really is get luck with shards as I'm a F2P so can't just whale out :(

I tried a team you recommended in this video (shieldguard, Galek, Elhain, Skartorsis, and Saurus) and couldn't get past level 10 with it and could only do 10 on manual.

Forgot Drexthar as hp burn champ that can be the tank for spider 20

You did a video on Drexthar for HP burn/tank and thought it looked good. I started getting the fragments but hope to have a solution before then. I believe with the info you shared I can pick 5 of the following from my roster and get from Spider level 14 to 20... Apothecary, Bad-el-Kazar, Doompriest, Skytouched, Nethril, Alure, Stag Knight, Armiger, Ogryn Jailer(maybe?). Just need the right ones leveled to 60 with the right gear which level 19 Fire Knight and level 16 Dragon should help with. Believe I can nail Ice Golem with Dark Elhain when I get her in about 40 days.

So this is why my Armiger stinks, because he hasn't been morphed into his higher form of "ArMINGer" yet.

I'm completely stuck on 14, I get murdered with both types of team, the ape attack team just doesn't do enough dmg and the spidierlings poison me to death and the other type just doesn't do much dmg at all, even armiger tickles the spider

OMG, super content, but compared to current contents, how much the audio/video quality has improved, is insane.

I'm late to the party but the defiled sinner is alright in the earlier stages, not so much in the later stages. He only does enemy max hp on his a2 IF he first kills an enemy and even then the max enemy hp damage can not be greater than 15% of the enemy hp.
So in the earlier stages, it works fine because kill a spiderling, you do good damage to the spider mother. But later, he's unable to do that. Also, it's hard on auto because he keeps targeting the main spider with his A2 so the enemy max hp ability never works. Kinda useless.

Can’t believe you left out Mordecai. Aoe hp burn and 2 enemy turn meters down.
