Ulric, the wolf god that Blessed Sigmar before he Ascended to godhood
Ответить1st to 1st, 6th to like, 19th to watch... For working on a Sunday reasons 😢
ОтветитьYou must have a time machine to crank out all of these videos O_o😮
ОтветитьHell ya! Praise be to Sigmar, but Im also an Ulric fan. I feel one of the reasons Sigmar was such a fierce warrior when he was a man, is because he worshipped Ulric. Both are Bad Ass. Love the content 👍
ОтветитьCult of Ulric is way cooler than Sigmar. Plus Middenheim is a way cooler city than Altdorf. Would love to stand atop the walls of the Fauschlag with a frosty ale taking in the view 🍺 🏔️
ОтветитьWith out ulric there would be no Sigmar
Ответитьhow on earth would you get a STD through bitngh each other's hand? 😂
Ответитьi worship tah Ulric, he will protect us
ОтветитьThe cult of Ulric lends a special twist to the in general more baroque culture of the Empire.
ОтветитьI think I might already be a member of this cult and not know it although I do believe in helmets.
ОтветитьA very interesting foil to the "civilized" cults. Also a great source of elite troops.
ОтветитьYour a busy dude. Thumping out videos left and right.
And we totally appreciate it.
Skål
Ulric based. Ligmar cringe.
ОтветитьUtmost respect for this most ancient of Old World deities and his religion, of the Empire-to-be's humanity. Without the strength and determination of Ulric's cult the original tribes of humans simply would not have resisted and therefore survived the invasion of Chaos. Not in any recognizable Warhammer form.
The tough trifecta of representative aspects are as practical and to be as appreciated as the intro children's rhyme is endearingly grimdark. The profile of bare-chested, bear pelt-cowled barbarians has always been fun in hard fantasy franchises and the Ulricans are clearly the closest the South is going to get to berserkers of Norsca and the further, worse Northern Wastes. For which, along with Middenheim, the rest of the Empire should be grateful. Instead, in typical human form, the descended followers behave seflishly, segregated and pettily. Wolf heraldry and siguls are reliably referenced in Northern humanity's historical and fantastical lore. That wooden shield included in here is interesting in its prominence of a bull's head over wolves while the kneeling cultist's snowy woods ritual branding looks like it'll stereotypically make him howl.
Despite the belligerence, necessary for their martial might and force of spirit I think, these barbarous-venerable warriors always look great. Embodying those Ulrican tenets which of course would be acknowledged, valued and complimented by wise Sigmarites. They stand for base practicality in war, the essence of this world, and Sigmar was fanatic number one. So if the Cult of Ulric's beliefs, traditions and ethics are “barbaric” than what would that make Sigmar?
I supported the Cult of Ulric's role within the Empire before even knowing his crucial role in Sigmar's own, and therefore future humanity's, existence and I do so now even more. The practicality is enduring, and empowering, and I can't help but like the combined worship of wolves, warriors and wintertime. Thank you greatly once again, GDN, for your venture into the world of the Empire's religions. I hope that there is more in general to come in the future. 'Til your next installment, have an awesomely healthy week while the blessings of both Sigmar and Ulric be upon you.
