I remember watching this growing up and begging my mom to let me do it at home!
ОтветитьIt almost sounded dirty. It gets hot, it swells, it gets bigger....until he got to it splits open!! Worst nightmare for all
ОтветитьElectricity is too dangerous to have in your home.
ОтветитьI made a hot dog cooker this way once. It was just two nails through a board with a cord attached. There was one flaw: the ends of the dog beyond the nails did not get hot.
ОтветитьGood, now try with real sausage instead of wrustel shit
ОтветитьWHY THAT GARFIELD SHIRT?
ОтветитьI remember seeing this hot dog scene as a kid!
ОтветитьHis assistant on this segment is Leila Zama. I wonder where she and the other frequent kids are today such as Stacy, Michael, Tanis, Jason, Christian and others.
ОтветитьI saw this experiment in an early 1960s episode of Mr Wizard. I think he was using a car battery for the voltage source. Later in the show, he showed another way to cook the hot dog. He put it on a paper plate, wrapped in a paper napkin, and put it in an 'oven'. At this point his young assistant exclaimed: No! It will burn!. We had never seen a microwave oven before. (they called them 'radar ranges' back then)
ОтветитьGarfield for the win.
ОтветитьBack in 1988 me and my friends gave 2 forks and a battery to the guy that lived outside behind the vending machine factory so he could cook his food. He said he only needed spoons and then he stole Falzo's bike.
ОтветитьThis video is so old forks still had 3 teeth instead of 5.
ОтветитьREMEMBER HOW KIDS BACK THEN HAD ENOUGH SENSE TO WATCH THINGS LIKE THIS AND LEARN AND NOT TOUCH THINGS AND COULD BE SAFE , FAST FORWARD TO TODAYS KIDS EATING TIDE PODS ETC. YEP LIBERALISM MAKES PEOPLE AND THEIR OFF SPRINGS RETARDED.
ОтветитьThat girl was such a cutie pie. I want to pinch her cheeks.
ОтветитьFinnaly my misses will enjoy valentines to the fullest
ОтветитьWe're going to need another Timmy!
ОтветитьBigClive sent me here.
ОтветитьLet's get that onto a tray. Nice.
ОтветитьWho else is here from big Clive
ОтветитьThat girl was pretty, jus saying; must have been a Ball Park Frank btw!
ОтветитьI wouldn't eat those hotdogs or use those forks! Electrolysis was taking place inside that hotdog with the forks as electrodes. The metal itself was taking part in the reaction on whichever side was positive during each cycle of the AC wave. Dangerous chemicals were produced.
ОтветитьI remember this as a child and I've personally always wanted to try cooking other meats with the same technique
ОтветитьI was in middle school back then. I think once or twice cute girls pumped up my hot dog too
ОтветитьThey pump when you cook them
ОтветитьIt's meating resistance. haha
ОтветитьLove the way he explains things so clearly.
Ответить"BallPark Franks! They plump when you run 115VAC through them."
ОтветитьI did this for show-and-tell once in 2nd grade. The fun thing is that because it was the 1980s, THEY LET ME. XD
ОтветитьWe need more Mr Wizards in the world. you can really see he enjoyed doing that TV show and helping people learn, he certainly did not do that show for the money.
ОтветитьI remember seeing this as a kid. My mom, who was an electrician at the time, flipped out.
Ответитьyou are a manchild.
ОтветитьI use to have the same Garfield shirt as Lila when I was little it was my older sisters too than it was passed on to me
ОтветитьThose are threeks.
ОтветитьThat's Amazing!! I didn't know can cook using Two forks and electric wires I wonder I could do that with a marshmallow.
