Good fight but I still think this should’ve been Cal vs Dagan, would’ve been great to end the game against him on Tanalor

The “embrace the darkness” parts are actually very interesting to me.

I think they’re going to really play with the fact that the Jedi were, maybe, too rigid on insisting emotional detachment and never giving into anger. But that attitude causes it to bubble up and burst sometimes, as with Anakin.

Whereas Cal will be contrasted with Anakin. Embracing the fact he is human and flawed, without striving for a perfection that ultimately drives him completely insane.

Your skills are tragic, constantly getting hit and not dodging the red attacks. 🤦‍♂️

Boss fights are always the same in the series. Block, parry or dodge. They basically gimp your force powers. Also why does the with/jedi bosses have move cal can never learn and use. There should be a force tree for boss encounters. Fights get boring and one dimensional

The moment Bode shattered that bridge right out from under his daughter's feet (and later when he pushed her into that rubble), all my sympathy for him went straight out the window. It went from "he's doing horrible things, but I can understand his reasons and the tragedy this situation is creating" to "he's so far gone he's actively a danger to his own kid, and needs to be stopped for everyone's own good."

Any advice for this fight? Currently stuck on him. Blocking, dodging, and jumping only go so far. Not to mention, fighting him post dark side is basically impossible on my end. Can only land one hit for every 10-15 hits from him.

Cal: Go to Hell

In the end Malicos was right, the Jedi fell because they were unwilling to use and study the dark side. Cal could have learned a lot from him.

Love the idea of the fight but it was just disappointingly easy. I had a way harder time with vader and cere though

I’m glad you don’t really notice the voice lines when you’re doing this boss fight because some of them are a little too comically evil for what they’re trying to do with bode. They’re a bit too evil and generic like “die now” is a bit silly, and I’m not one to care about that sort of thing in my magic space western game

I get that he was a dad and all but Bode was an asshole in the end

Seeing Bode hesitate when BD jumps between him and Cal will never not make me sad.

Bode is the perfect example of a dark jedi.

Cal really healed mid cutscene.

Man this betrayal hurt me bad I liked Bode. But what i find interesting is “embracing the dark side” options in the end. The Jedi Order is gone. It seems tapping into the dark side will be more acceptable in the future. Which means Anakin was never wrong when he embraced the dark side. They are 2 natures of the same force, but the same force all together. It is said Purple lightsaber wielders use both good and dark sides of the force. I hope we see more of those. Also I want a game where we can play as Revan or other Sith Lords. I love Star Wars but I have always been a Darksider 😈

Had Merrin not been there Cal would've easily lost to Bode

Got to love the fact that Bode gives Cal the weapon he uses to kill him in the end. He knew it was unorthodox for a jedi, but that cal needed every advantage against the empire. Gotta love it.

How start this mission from the begging? I left the storage facility into the desert and can’t get back

I never understood how people got so many stims, so I only found 2 extra stims. In turn I had to do the whole fight with only 4 stims 😭😭😭

Did the game explain how Bode could cloak himself from Cere, Master Cordova, and Cal? I was wondering how they did not sense that he is a Jedi.

After completing the game and coming back to watch this awesome end scene again, I realize now that Cal only shot Bode because Bode legit tried to kill Cal with the gun but it malfunctioned. Sad stuff but just shows how forgiving Cal is and how much he cared for Bode.

But in the end he knew what he had to do.

The best boss fight i've ever had. Amazing

Yknow, Bode does kinda got a point with the whole "The empire could find a way to get here if we gave them a reason" Cause I guarantee you that it there is one person in the galaxy that could get past all those asteroids with zero help, it's Vader.

Love the fact that Cal pointed Bode with a warning intention vs Bode that went right for the kill... Showing that, at the last moment, was convinced to kill everyone with the excuse of saving his daughter...
It's pretty similar to Anakin, who justified his actions with the excuse of saving Padme and ended up deep in the dark side

Really love how this fight feels like a low scale grudge match instead of having to be this large scale saving the world type shit. it what spider-man 2 needed for its story

I don't get it, there's an entire facking planet but bro is upset with having....to share it? He's set on just having him and his daughter on that planet? I had my suspicions when he first joined Cal's team. Had a feeling bro couldnt be trusted. He prob caused the shit show on Corusant.

Man, seeing Noshir Dalal in a mocap role, actually getting to see his physical acting in full display after hearing his voice for years in other games and shows? He was absolutely fantastic, and definitely deserves to be talked about just as much as Cameron playing Cal. ngl I wanna see Noshir in some big movies roles. most of these voice actors we never see physical acting for are just so flawless when they do it, it boggles my mind they aren’t in the major movie scene already
