More Worth it Than You Think (Chasca Full Prerelease Analysis)

Sorry but gotta dissagree with the whole "makes sense that the nation of war feels more modern with their technology for fighting" ... it was stated that Fontaine was supposed to be the most modern, and that Natlan is a nation ravaged by war .... nations ravaged by constant war and fighting don't get to have technological breaktroughs, it makes sense they would be stronger because of the constant fighting but they are basically having a peaceful nation outside of archon quests, which has even natural spring resorts and more beutiful shit which makes no sense ..... I hate the modern weapons and take on the nation, it would have been cool if we actually had a nation full of war and constant fighting, that it feels dangerous going in there, and that it's a challenge just going from tribe to tribe at first to unlock waypoints and so on ....

C1 and c2 allow chasca to use more than 3 different elements and to slot only 2 phec elemental units respectively, so xilonen and kazuha are on the table with c2 I am curious just how damage increase would adding those units will be and the rawd damage increase without adding them

If I get Chasca I will definitely use her in a electro-charged team with ororon because why not

With that flying hand cannon, she's hands-down the goofiest looking DPS in the game.....starting to look a bit turn-based

I don't thing xianglin is going to work because of the flying en pyronedo being stuck to her and the same should go for kaeya

I do think her design is overhated , i think most people just want to justify a skip but wont be upfront Ofc she wont be for everyone NOTHING is but please let people enjoy her, can this community not pull another Emilie.

I just keep coming back to how much the Natlan characters are surrounding the utility Mavuika is probably going to bring to these teams. Vaporize Mualani, Burning Kinich, any swirlable element for Chasca and if you do duo pyro you get the atk buff, Xilonen lore-wise acts like her right hand and she would actually buff HER instead. I don't think we've had an archon preemptively already insight this kind of circling of possible support for a while if at all.

Are we really going to do the 3E Q 3E bullsh*t again with Yae?

1) Skillbot? 3E? She has 4P GT to use for skillbotting and that's fine.
2) 2-Phase rotation solves her ER needs and works with her CDs (22s CD on her burst means she won't work with 15-20s rotations *anyways*).
3) Random Targeting on her skill means she still has some decent AoE potential for waveclear, it just means she's even more deadly in single-target because all the random attacks are focused on one thing.

Reason Yae won't work well here is not because of Yae, it's because you're adding too many elements into the mix which could throw Chasca off tempo.

honestly i’m wondering what goblet chasca would want. it seems like you’d want to build teams around a specific element like mono cryo/hydro/electro/pyro and use a corresponding goblet depending on the elements she’s firing, or maybe it’ll all just scale off of anemo damage so an anemo goblet is still her best.

I'm definitely getting Chasca but I have no interest in playing her with Bennett. I know it'll be the strongest team, but man she can fly around on a gun I don't want to be locked into a circle. It's bad enough on melee characters like Arlecchino, I don't wanna have to deal with that while I'm flying around as well. Hoping the pyro archon or pyro traveler will work with her, if not I'll probably run something like Chasca/Mona/Beidou/Rosaria.

really tempting to get her for the exploration benefits and cause i luckily got every natlan character so far after coming back from a year (or more) of not playing the game but i have to stay strong for unknown-kit-mavuika and hope that she has all the exploration benefits on that motorbike like speculated, i wanna replace xiangling and bennet so badly

I was planning to go Neuvilette C1 and Zhongli, but for some reason I was going with hutao after skipping her last time and of course her way to cool signature and while i dont regret it all I hope I can get Zhongli 😁

Honestly, glad Chasca's kit just screams clunky and large hit box because I didn't want her in the first place so with her kit released she has become the easiest skip for me - I have to save for Mavuika anyway so it is good for me
