Really poor, joyless interior. Weird double tiny windows design, too many white surfaces that should be wood veneer. Does not look HALF its price.
ОтветитьI don't know the wheel to far forward , I have nothing against it . During a storm.
But if I'm cruising the Tradewinds or westerly winds I want to be at the rear of the boat for the feel. I think leave the pilot wheels but put one or two in the rear
A lot of very sharp angles inside.
ОтветитьDo you know why the A is a scarlet letter? A mans energy lost
ОтветитьI'm curious to find out why boat interiors always assume you have 30 people for dinner? Why do you need so much couch space and such a huge kitchen, when realistically you'll be living there with 4/5 people max. Feels like you could use all that extra space for something like a lounging area. And why do they cut corners out of the beds? Looks to me that you can still walk around the bed easily without that corner being cut out.
ОтветитьOyster 495 is way better. Not even close.
ОтветитьUdghz I uugggcfcxd🇦🇴🇦🇿Xd
Ответитьhola buenos dias yo necessitaria uno igual para dar la vuelta al mundo,si melo dejais podria haceros propaganda del velero
ОтветитьOh fine ship; Man gönnt sich ja sonst nix....!
ОтветитьC'est d'une laideur sans nom!
ОтветитьFor 1.6 million I'd be expecting a boat that could sail itself
ОтветитьTruly stunning
ОтветитьNo, because no one can afford this except like less than 1/10 of one percent of people (Sailing)
Ответить👍
ОтветитьSince it looks like a sarcophagus, that noise makes it even more scary...
ОтветитьNo. It isn't. My Sundeer 60 is.
ОтветитьI think they call a 100% genoa a jib.
ОтветитьThey seem to make amazing yachts but out of reach for most mortals.
ОтветитьWonderful boat. The price is insane though. Much included, you say? Okay, that is fine, but the price is the exact same price as the Garcia 52 Exploration Catamaran, for instance. A marine grade aluminium multihul, that takes 1½ year to build. I actually like the layout of the old Amel 54 a lot more, and those you can now get at a reasonable price. That is however also an argument against Amel: For such a supposed high quality boat they sure do depreciate a lot!
ОтветитьNice boat - until we got to the price point :D
ОтветитьF.wers
ОтветитьDear Santa.
If I can ave one of these for Xmas, I’ll never ask for a nun with dirty abbits again!
Promise ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
Oyster interiors are light years better.
ОтветитьI could never live with that continuous sound of rigging stressing. Only negative for a beautiful vessel.
ОтветитьAbsolutely finest seaworthy offshore yacht available but can afford a Hanse for near shore adventure
ОтветитьWell “Toby” I am sold on your ship! I won’t feel nervous in heavy seas!
ОтветитьBeautiful boat, but is that much noise normal for a new boat??
ОтветитьI am just a want-a-be sailor, I have looked at so many boats and unfortunately if I were to be a real sailor I would probably have to sail by myself, I really like this boat👍👍
Ответитьcan anyone answer why the boat was creaking when they were adjusting the sails? thanks.
ОтветитьAm I the only one thinking this yacht is way too complicated?
ОтветитьTHE BOOM NEEDS TO BE TIDE UP WHEN IS NOT IN USE AS THE SOUND IT MAKES WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY
Ответитьfree Dyson hoover is about the same as saying free Toyota Honda. Just sayin
ОтветитьFor a semi-disabled person like myself with a prosthetic leg and resultant mobility/stability problems, this yacht seems to be the answer with its enclosed helm. Thank you Toby for the well executed presentation
ОтветитьHmm, it seems peaceful seas yet there's a lot of cracking from the rigging. Also from the winches... Am I right?
ОтветитьAre you serious? a 60ft slow watertub without a dinghy garage? Amel 60 is just ridiculously bad engineering combined with ridiculously slow sailing... bad design, why isn't any of the yachting magazines honest about these boats? i wonder who sponsors these reviews...
ОтветитьRight before the tack you had the code zero deployed but then your tacking with the Genoa. Kinda confused?
Ответитьlooks great
what a mess with the skipper bloody useless
That's why a ship is so expensive because it may not have any individual parts that creak when it's moved
ОтветитьA very sensible layout for long distance all weather sailing. Not the fastest but highly practical.
ОтветитьAre there other boats that have an underwater window to see the propeller? That is a neat feature!
ОтветитьA free Dyson vacuum?? I'll take to boats! They shall be named the "Tweedle Dee" and the "Tweedle Dum"!! (A few of you might get that reference)
ОтветитьA very compelling choice.
ОтветитьQue pasada de barco
ОтветитьI wonder if they made any of these with boom furling main (rather than mast furling).
ОтветитьThe window to see the prop, what a great idea
ОтветитьIs this good as a first boat or is it too big?
ОтветитьBest in class,full stop.
ОтветитьIt's a beautiful boat from top to bottom but I don't see any real wood. I see miles of veneered particle board throughout the interior. Am I seeing this wrong?
ОтветитьI still prefer the idea of the ketch designs.
To me the Amel 54 is the perfect choice for South Pacific cruising with the 55 as a second choice for short handed sailing, but that's an opinion based upon SV DELOS's travel clips from an Australian land-lubber.
