The repetition in this video is nauseating. Must be AI. The daughter has decided to come out now, it was not up to Mary to do it.

This is absolute crap. I don’t know where to begin. Re Hutton: he and the others living at Garden Lodge were given at least a half million pounds each. His cook was also given a home and Jim Hutton was given £500,000 and a beautiful house in his home country of Ireland. All were given 3 months to move from MARYS NEW HOME, as directed by the attorneys managing the transfer. YES, Hutton was his lover, but in the last few months regularly visited gay bars for “companionship”. Imagine if the wife of a terminally ill man did that!! People have got to stop pretending that he was “thrown out of Garden Lodge”. Mary was left the bulk of Freddie’s estate. He also left huge amounts to his parents and his sister. HIS CHOICE. Why some fans feel that they should have made his decisions for him is nuts. Re the alleged daughter. First, to believe that “his daughter” would have chosen Leslie Ann Jones to write her story is crazy. She writes books about rock stars that contain so many lies, they should be labeled fiction. If “B” is so concerned about her privacy, why give the journals to Ms. Jones? “B” would have been 15 when Freddie died. Do any of you know ANY 15-year old who would have kept such a secret from her friends. I sure don’t! Mary was considered to be his best friend, and common law wife, by Freddie. He trusted her with his business and finances which he hired her to manage. Again “HIS CHOICE”. Before he died, Mary urged him to let her turn Garden Lodge into a museum and he rejected the idea, stating that he wanted it to be a family home. She followed his wishes to the letter. We are told that Mary, the band members and his family knew about “B” . If that is true and she exists, well, good for them for also following his wishes. It would have been 100% HIS CHOICE to ask that his reasons be respected. So perhaps it’s time to stop trying to make money off of Freddie Mercury and demonizing the woman who meant everything to him.

It doesn't matter to me at all whether Freddie fathered a child or not. It changes nothing about about how I feel about Freddie and Queen's music. I say adore him for himself, for his musical genius, for his charisma and mystique, for his love of his fans, for all he gave the world. Daughter..no daughter...it does not matter. Just love and accept him for what he gave us.

this is ridiculous. Mary Austin was his one true life long friend he loved her and we should respect the fact that she never wrote a tell all book. Thats true love. Let Freddie rest in peace and Mary live the life Freddie wanted her to live.

What a load of rubbish!

First, this video presumes the secret daughter is truth. Jones has yet to provide proof and has only hinted that we should “just trust her”, since she claims the proof is private and the secret daughter intends to remain private.

According to Lesley Ann Jones’, Mary wasn’t the ONLY one who knew about “B”. Brian, Roger, John, Kash and Freddie’s parents knew as well.

So the entire premise for this load of crap presentation is based on a lie that ONLY Mary was “hiding the real Freddie” from everyone. Funny that an earlier marketing article said this person was kept secret because of homophobia, for safety and to avoid publicity. NOW it’s because Mary manipulated the secret to preserve HER place? GMAB! Freddie made quite clear where Mary was in his heart. I doubt Mary gives two shits what anyone else thought. If she did, she’d be a publicity hound. She’s chosen a quiet life since Freddie’s death.

Lesley Ann Jones has had a burr up her butt about Mary Austin in every book she’s written about Freddie Mercury.

It’s the same old crap Jones pulls in every book. She acknowledges Mary was Freddie’s closest confidant and dear love of his life, then slaps her around with the Jones psychobabble analysis of Mary’s motives. Jones never got an exclusive interview with either Freddie Mercury or Mary.
The closest she ever got to interviewing Freddie was among the many in press gaggles.

This is definitely a hit piece on Mary Austin. It’s a lousy stunt to pull on a 74 year old woman who has kept her life with Freddie private, save for the small bits she chose to share. Her life with Freddie shouldn’t be analyzed because of a still unproven claim of a “secret daughter”.

How Mary is going to become a manipulator in this scenario is beyond reason.

Freddie Mercury did what Freddie wanted. HE had the power over his life. IF true, HE chose to hide the secret daughter.

Why not pick apart the motives of Brian, Roger, John and Kash for keeping the secret all these years? Why is only Mary getting scrutinized?

As for Hutton, he lied to big himself up. His own book is loaded with contradictions. His accounts of Mary are hardly reliable considering Phoebe Freestone has debunked his claims anyway.

The only way this story will have real credibility is if these so-called journals will be published as they are. Journals Phoebe and some others on Queen/Freddie circle claim don’t exist. There should be no BS analysis built with Lesley Ann Jones’ narrative of who SHE decides Freddie Mercury was. Show the journals in Freddie’s authenticated handwriting.

Maybe we should consider why this “secret daughter” didn’t inherit Garden Lodge, the exquisite clutter, or any original song lyrics from Freddie? Freddie set up the futures of his niece and nephew better than the “secret daughter”?

Maybe we should consider why “B” went to Jones who trashed Freddie in her last book? Why “B” went to Jones, a sensationalist celebrity writer when any reputable publishing house would find authenticated Freddie Mercury journals pure gold?

BTW…this “secret daughter” had parents. Why didn’t they come forward with this? Why was ONLY Mary supposed to disclose what FREDDIE didn’t?
