Always (when I'm watching Scenes of this australian 'B-Movie'), I have to laugh about the 'Blondschopf'.. - 'cause that Figure, it is a low-Budget german 'Seewolf'-"Verschnitt" ( = a 'Replica') of/by Original Raimund Harmstorf.. 🤣👍

Imagine Toecutter and his gang taking a road trip to the wasteland,and be pursued by the Humongus,Wez and the rest of those savages,to try and take thier gas from them,I think that's where ToeCutter would have met his match.

I feel like Toecutter isn't given enough credit as a villain in this scene, all the kudos to Hugh Keays-Bryne RIP, he recognizes that the Train Manager wasn't being disrespectful to The Night Rider but was just ignorant to who The Night Rider was. So he took the time to gently educate him, and when he was no longer needed had his boys take him back to his duties with no further issues. Most Terminal Psychotics would have just let his boys have their fun with the Train Manager, but Toecutter let him go with just the gentlest of rebuke.

The US version would've had no helmets and Harleys.

As a kid this movie is why I'm a biker 2day...100% everyday rider

maybe it's because i'm not australian but i always thought this flick was weird as all fuck.

I was in Clunes, where the biker scenes were filmed, a week ago. The railway station surrounds have changed a bit but, save for a few small details such as the bowsers missing from in front of the green shed, the buildings featured look practically exactly the same as they did over 40 years ago, unbelievable !!!. I was hoping to get down to little river where some of the road scenes were filmed but couldn't make it. Total blast though to visit Clunes.

Yea, those bikers were really scarry on their Kawasakis, and Byrne shaved one eyebrow off for the film. He called it scalping.

All those Kawasaki bikes were loaned to them, Kawasaki wanted them back after the film.
The production team didn’t know that….

This is so much better than when I saw it in the past - The dialogue was the same but they were all dubbed with silly voices for some reason! It took away most of the acting skills because whoever did the voice-overs just sounded like they were just reading it out from a script in silly voices.
