omg thank you I love this piece
ОтветитьIn the older version you used to do octaves (if I'm not mistaken), what made you change it?
ОтветитьAmazing! Would you consider putting your music on Spotify Paul?
ОтветитьMajestic
ОтветитьWhenever I come to your channel I always find best versions of some of my favourite pieces like this one. Even when listening on other famous pianists, your versions are superior...I don't really know if you made a pact with Memphistopheles in change of your skill. Best interpretation on best piano and best recording system and output...I can hear clearly every single note expressed at best and recorded at best. I'm truly impressed by your art Paul.
Ответитьbravissimo!!
Ответить1000 thumbs!
ОтветитьI loved this version! The others are usually too fast
ОтветитьGenial!! Why didn't I find you before!! Regards from Colombia!
ОтветитьLike a boss
ОтветитьMerci pour ce sublime Rachmaninov Monsieur Barton .
ОтветитьDoes anyone else forget that this prelude is part of Rachmaninoff’s Op.23 set of preludes but then when they hear it they’re like ‘ohh yea, I remember’ even thought it’s one of his most famous?
ОтветитьNice Paul, but i like the previous video. Last video you played very fast and correctly
ОтветитьA wonderful performance. I love the way you interpret the piece. Weaving the melody in waves; creating images and suspense throughout. So many musicians seem to just play the notes, but you play the music.
ОтветитьI hope that Feurich was 18
ОтветитьHave you ever play 3 Concerto by Rachmaninov?
Ответить7 dislikes is 7 to many
ОтветитьRachmaninoff put the mm at 110 and there's only three concert pianists I've ever seen go that fast and Rachmaninoff is one of them. Kissin and Lisitsa are the other two. It sounds so rushed at that speed and I can't even physically play it that fast. Only Virtuosos have the technique for that speed. I'm only playing it around 90bpm, should I stop playing it all together? Should I be ashamed?
ОтветитьThanks for your tutorial on this piece, you helped me find better fingerings. Still I am about 30 percent your level but it's a start I guess. I love to draw too though.
ОтветитьIt would be great if you could share your insight on the usage of the pedal for this piece.
Ответитьi've always wanted to play this piece BUT MY HAND IS TOO SMALL!!!!!!!!

ОтветитьThis is so beautiful. I think Rachmaninoff is the most emotionally gripping of almost any composers I've heard. I love that you play so many of Rachmaninoff's works so incrdibl;yu beautifully. Thank you, Mr Barton.
